Night of the Demon (1957) was a classic - but it would have been even better because the lead actor, writer and director all wanted the demon to never be seen (imagination is far more powerful of course) but the producer insisted on sticking it in as a special effect at the end and obviously those were rather more primitive in those days.
Without his interference it would have been perfect.

It was a great concept for a movie. But then it was written by the late, great MR James as Casting the Runes.
I love it when he finally hands that bit of paper back to the guy who handed it to him in the first place.

I watched 'Welcome to Collinwood' at the weekend, it's very funny.
Two of the actors from the Green Mile are in it, Sam Rockwell and Michael Jeter and one of the actresses from it Patricia Clarkson.
George Clooney is in it as well.

I have a load of horror films recorded that I need to catch up on and also T2 - I thought Trainspotting was a masterpiece so I have been very wary in case it ruins the memories of the first for me.
Need to watch the New Red Dwarf feature length episode and catch up with Killing Eve as well, although I wish it was now 'I'm So Glad I Killed That Bloody Annoying Eve' instead so that Villanelle could go and do something more interesting.
This was truly spectacular viewing, I posted several articles on Hubble in the Astronomy thread that no one ever reads!

I got bored with killing Eve by series 3 so stopped watching. I agree, Eve is boring...and very irritating.
