I lost my mother last night, and my sense of taste and smell. So I'm dealing with her loss, while sitting in my truck, waiting for another Covid test.
Thanks for the good thoughts in regards to my mom. It's greatly appreciated.
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss MD.

Ah no...RIP. My condolences to you & your family, Dawg. Very sorry for your loss.
Scary to see you tested positive, on top of everything else! But recovery stats are always encouraging - so crossing my fingers for you.

I feel pretty good today. I slept well for the first time in a few weeks. I think that helped.

I actually have good news to announce. My fridge, my freezer and my cupboards are full. I have gift cards for uber eats and enough vitamins and other medicines to treat a small country.
I've had to tell people to stop bringing me stuff unless it comes with a second refrigerator.
I'm blessed to have a lot of people that care about me. It's making me ball like a little baby at times (if y'all tell anyone I'll have to deny it) because I am the fucking calvary. I rescue people. I slay the dragons. I help people out of jambs. I dont have much experience being on the receiving end.
Maybe covid just makes you a little crazy. Or more than likely I already was.

People are lovely, and you are obviously well liked, so lie back and enjoy it all.

I may gain 20 pounds. It's too easy to just keep eating.
I may need to buy some bigger clothes at some point.

Thanks Rags. Just got off the phone with my sister. Seems she just tested positive.
Seems like every day now I'm hearing about people I know testing positive.
My nurse friends are getting all the work they want. Thankfully, the hospitals are keeping up in my little corner of Texas.
