I am glad that Saville 4 part drama has finished, it was really hard to watch. Had it been commissioned by anyone else than the BBC, I'm sure it would have been more accurate, but it did show what a disgusting human being he was.
Hopefully he was religious, if so, he would have died filled with self disgust and guilt...one consolation I suppose.
I'm not sure I could watch it. My friend said he was also into necrophilia Ugh, what a beast.
It touched on that. How the hell he had full run of the hospitals, including keys to the morgues is unbelievable, but he did.
I was told he had sex with his dead mum . How the hell did this deviant get away with this! My hub said Thatcher protected him, did she know?

I don't think Thatcher protected him, she was taken in by him.
He raised so much for charities, I think that's how he wrangled his way into the higher echelons of society.
Plus...he knew a lot about people, and keeping him close was one way of keeping him quiet.

I think, like everyone, even Charles n Diana, fell into the belief he was a goodun. How very wrong they all were.
I think hub thought she did protect him, but then he hated her, so why am I not surprised lol.

We've just watched the first three episodes. That bit when he was dressed as a jester and got that kid to rummage in his pockets to 'find' some sweets....Ugh What a horror he was.

I don't think I could have watched three episodes together. I was relieved when each one had finished.
It was so close to home, and it was just like watching him all those years ago.
