Every bride should be looked on as the most beautiful woman in the room...even if it's just for her one special day. If that really happened, the DJ made a huge faux pas.
It's as bad as when film star Raquel Welch arrived late for her sons wedding, in a revealing dress and huge hat, and stole all the limelight from her daughter-in-law.
She should have stepped aside and encouraged her daughter-in-law to get on the stage.

If you read what happened, that wasn't possible, because the bride had left the room in tears.
The DJ caused the problem.

I think the DJ called Vic up, even though it was the bride and groom first dance.
I think the bride left after they started dancing, not sure. Vic should have declined this dance imo.

It sounds like it was pretty embarrassing all round. If Brooklyn was on the stage and Victoria was called up, maybe she had no idea what was happening. It doesn't sound like she deliberately tried to upstage the bride.
Then apparently the DJ encouraged the son to put his hands on his mothers hips when they danced, Latin style...this was after he had called Viictoria the most beautiful woman in the room.
No wonder Jennifer Lopes got rid.

Omg, then it's the DJ. fault entirely. He will never work again!

The wedding was almost 4 years ago.
It's a pity the son (and more than likely his wife) seethed about it for all that time. It's usually a bad idea to push family resentments away, they need to be dealt with when they happen.
Saves serious fall-outs down the line.

It wasn't the DJ who caused the trouble, but the American singer Marc Anthony who was performing at the wedding.
The DJ Fat Tony was just relaying the story on TV

Yes, you are right....I should have made it clear that it was JLo's ex Marc Anthony who took the stage and made the huge faux pas, DJ Fat Tony was relaying the story as he saw it.
I have watched the 'This Morning' interview, where he gives a full account of what he saw.

I used to know Fat Tony back in the day when he was actually fat - he will thank me for clearing his name!

I read that Marc Anthony was also DJing....which is why I said DJ.
Since I saw the interview with Fat Tony, it becomes clear Anthony was singing more than DJing.
