Outside in a garden under a shelter and well drained? Do they break hibernation several times then return? Squirrels are supposed to hibernate - but they are always up and around during milder periods of the winter trying to remember where they have buried their nuts.

Yes he's done this many times over the years, so he knows what he's doing. I worry, silly me 😁

He has woken up early, lay there bored, then decided to get up and have a look at what's going on outside....just like us really.

January-February is supposed to be the coldest part of the northern year being in mid to late winter, but we are having a period of early spring like weather, although mostly wet but Sunday and today we have had sunshine. No wonder what is left of the natural world are arising from their slumber.
UK snow: Villages at risk of being cut off as 369-mile warning will last 24 hours
369 miles was that?

I think I'll be spending the day in bed.
I wont be in bed, but I doubt I will be going out.
Is it wishful thinking, or is there a slight smell of spring in the air?

Snow and freezing on the forecast but it certainly looks and feels like spring just now.
It was like the UK all weekend. It's been a pattern for several weeks now. Outstanding weather during the week, and shit weather on the weekends.
This coming weekend might break the spell.
