I have had to wait a month to see a nurse to have bloods taken at my GP practice. One person was waiting in the huge surgery...three receptionists on duty, chatting together. Just one person came out of the surgery as I was waiting to go in.
I saw a couple of nurses and presumably Dr's (didn't recognise any) coming and going, chatting, laughing, no one saw a patient because the surgery was empty, empty because patients have to jump through hoops to get an appointment.
I was seen...as I came out, two others came in, one was a translator, one was a patient. Translator explained the woman had missed her appointment, but she was given another one in two days time....odd, I had to wait a month just to see a nurse, and if anyone phones up the surgery no appointments are ever available.
No wonder one of the long time receptionists left last year, even she couldn't stand working for such a badly run surgery.
That's bad Syl. I had to wait a week, our surgery seems to be bucking its ideas up now. About time!
That bloody annoys me. No wonder they keep piling in. What about our own homeless, or young couples who want housing, or anyone in this country. It's disgusting!

I'm very fortunate with my surgery as I can usually make a same day appointment.
Today they phoned me asking could they make me an appointment for blood tests... yes but I'm busy all week can I come in next week.

We have been told by a neighbour, that when we are out, a works van has parking on our drive....it's not even next doors workers either, it's coming from a house 2 doors away, who also, for some reason, have decided to change a three bedroom house into a bleeding mansion.
So far, our new drive has sustained hundreds of pounds of damage...no point in having it fixed till the work is over, God knows how bad it'll get before then.
Why are some people so oblivious to the nuisance they cause??

They have admitted liability, said they will fix it when they sort their own drive out...we have refused 5hat offer.
We want the professional pavers back that built the drive last year.....they have agreed, reluctantly.
I have a feeling it won't be plain sailing with them.

How have they managed to damage it?
When they first moved in they ripped their front garden up and completely covered it with shingle. Their garden ran adjacent to our drive, and they loosened quite a few of our block paving stones....this was back in April.
They then reversed one of their lorries up the drive, dislodging them even further. the longer it takes for them to pave their own front, the more our bricks are being disturbed.
The most annoying thing is, the drive was totally replaced last year, and it looked really good....not so now.
