tonight I'm cooking this. With handmade pancake rolls.
That looks amazing, Diggs 😋
The family took me to a big outdoor mall for a bit of retail therapy, and we had lunch at a popular restaurant there.
I had a green salad and Mac‘n’Cheese….OH. MY. GOD!!… it was THE best Mac’n’Cheese I’ve ever had outside of New York City

Went to York over the long weekend with my wife and the youngest. The eldest is studying for A levels so thought she would like peace and quiet at home to focus on studying.
Lots of great places to eat. Had a lovely Rueben sandwich with sauerkraut and Russian dressing as well as jammie dodger cake slice which was so good.

Jammie Dodger cake, that sounds very nice.
Is your daughter at York University? We had many a nice meal out there when GS was at the uni there...it's a great place.

I had to Google ‘jammie dodger’ cake.
And I’m still no clearer…is it a cake topped with biscuits?

York is her first choice Uni (presuming she gets the grades.)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her as it is definitely her vibe and the course she wants to do, Psychology, is very well regarded with an integrated Masters.

It really is lovely. We had a nice time there but people were a little too friendly for a Southerner like me

Yes, exactly that.
You should be able to see them in one of the photos here: https://www.instagram.com/theoldyorktea/?hl=en
I put on a couple of kilos just looking at that!
Glad you and the fam enjoyed, though
York is a very picturesque city.
I love veggie sausages, onions, mash and peas, 😋
Is it really a sausage if it's not made of meat?.
I've had some fake meat and cheese at a vegan restaurant. Not bad, but not something I really want to eat either..
Do you eat quorn?
Everyone knows what she means, you're the only one pretending to make an issue out of it. Keep on trolling the site dude, you're doing well.
I know what she means too. 🙄
I love my salads.
I actually had salmon and salad for lunch today at a place I go about once a week
