Logic tells us that coronavirus accidentally escaped from the Wuhan lab. where they were researching and genetically modifying bat coronavirus' to make it more transmittable to humans. That research was banned in the US and Canada and that is why the research was transferred over to China and received investment from the US. The lab in Wuhan is the grade 4 level lab. in all of China - which is supposedly safe to carry out such studies. The Chinese government were slow in responding to the outbreak in Wuhan and they not wanting to lose face et cetera went with the nearby meat market which was likely a secondary outbreak.
The Western progressives couldn't handle such a suggestion and shut down and banned the mere suggestion of this. While the conspiracy theorists claimed it was intentional rather than accidental - with the intention of mass genocide- part of the so-called global reset.
The BBC ran an article saying the head of WHO needs further funds to "completely rule out the theory that the virus originated from the Wuhan lab".
When Trump was around the BBC was always pro-China and anti-Trump. Now that Trump has gone, they are focusing on ramping up the claim that China is committing genocide against Chinese Muslims. All progressive Western leaders are now first protectors of Islam throughout the world. Muslim leaders in Islamic countries are quiet. And you don't hear in the West anything about the Chinese government treatment of any other religion because that is not progressive.

A very nice article clearly explaining why we get minor side-effects from the various COVID-19 vaccines - it's because they are working and not due to a devious worldwide conspiracy by the Illuminati.
Yes I know we have both done well with the vaccination programme, people are still dying of Covid here though, and no doubt they are where you are.
Maybe we should compare notes about just how many people are still being infected, being admitted to hospital, and sadly still dying. Perhaps our figures would prove that we are going the right way with a slower easing of regulations?
You're numbers mirror ours in terms of deaths, cases and hospitalizations.
Now much of Europe is still in deep shit in spite of their lockdowns.
But they are way behind in vaccines.

Texas, the UK and Italy.
it's the vaccine.

France, our nearest neighbours, are going into full lockdown again.
Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, etc, are all seeing infections spiking again.
Maybe if some EU countries stopped fannying around with the Oxford vaccine, looking for negative reasons not to use it, and just got on with vaccinating their populations, it would help them.

The one thing we above all others have got right in this Pandemic is the vaccination program - it's been beautifully organised and incredibly fast.
Meanwhile European leaders posture and pout about the safety of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine - they have behaved like petulant, irresponsible fools and their people are now paying a very heavy price.

Meanwhile, I got online last night with a pharmacy.
I get my first jab on Easter.
Decided it was time.
Good for you, I know you have already had Covid, but the recommendations are get the jab anyway.

Yeah, I was going to blow it off but with grand babies on the way who knows how the hospitals will be acting by then. May need my papers to get in, if I'm allowed in at all.
I also wanted to point out how easy it should be to get the jab at this point. While Europe is still working on their 65 and ups, we are giving shots to everyone. My 20 something secretary got hers last week.

We are not that far along yet, but the 2nd doses are being given faster than expected. Many have already had theirs, and that's including the 12 week gap between 1st and 2nd..

I think that's another advantage we have.
My second dose will be 3 weeks after my first. Its already scheduled.
I know folks that went through government sites had to wait much longer than me and couldn't choose their time and location like I could.
The free market provides. 😉

Medical experts said that, especially with the Oxford jab, it actually performed better with a 12 week space between first and second jab.
That's what we were told anyway.

Well, I don't think we have that one over here.
The Pfizer seems to be the most common, followed by Moderna.
Then there is the Johnson and Johnson which is a one and done. I got tired of trying to find that one and just went with the Pfizer. It's the most effective anyway.

Well Bolsonaro's Christo-fascist hardman act has really been good for Brazil - almost 67,000 people died in the last month.
Yahweh will be very pleased indeed.

Italy has vaccinated 5% of their population.
