I have heard it go off about 20 times in the last month or so.
Omg that's excessive! Yes they should sort it out, not fair to you or surrounding neighbours 😡
We seem to be surrounded by selfish neighbours now.
This has always been a quiet cul-de-sac, since April it's been like we are living on a building site. I had words this morning about a workman, who is working 2 houses away, blocking the drive again.
Instead of apologising, he was really surly when he had to move his van.
Now, for the last half hour, the oik over the road...who rents, so he has no pride in his surroundings, has been revving his motorbike up on his drive.
Peace seems to be a thing of the past now.

Oh Syl, I feel so sorry for you. You loved living there. Bloody neighbours can be so selfish and inconsiderate, and make your lives hell.
Hope when winter comes the building is finished. They've spoilt your summer, heaven knows we haven't had much of one!

They started in April, we have been away twice to get some peace. We are going away again in November for 2 weeks, were hoping next door will have finished.,,,apparently the builder is going travelling in November, so I am thinking they don't plan to complete till next year now.
In the meantime, they have ruined part of our front drive with their lorries...which they will have to pay to put right, but when?
We won't move from here, it's where we have spent all our married life, and we have always loved it.

At the vets yesterday with Shorty.
She was getting her booster, some more steroids and antibiotics because she has an infection on her mouth.
The vet said ointment wasn't an option because she would just keep licking it off.
She also got her anal glands popped.
That smell when it hits you 😮

I'm trying to rearrange my flu jag, I don't think it's unreasonable not to want it on my 50th birthday 🎂
Less than two weeks away now 😁

I've had a bug, still not feeling well.
Very tired and sore bones but at least my headache is better.

Have you tested for Covid?
Apparently this new strain is spreading rapidly, if the reports are accurate.
Starting today, covid and Flu jabs are being given together. The most vulnerable and care home staff in this area will be first in line.

I think that's what it is Syl.
I had some wee tests but have them to my aunt because she's always going on holiday.

Actually, they dont keep for that long. The original ones we had, supplied by the chemist in 2021, all dried up.
