I'm doing smoked haddock on crushed new potatoes and spring onions with a poached egg and curry sauce.

That sounds like something you would see on a high end restaurant menu.
We are having grilled chops and chips.

I’m still exhausted after a wearying long haul journey home - delayed connecting flight had me stuck in Frankfurt for around 6 hours. When did air travel become so effin mind-numbing?!
So I ordered in some Thai - pan-fried duck breast in tamarind sauce and some vermicelli noodles.

That sounds horrendous, you must be knackered.
Glad you got home eventually. Holidays are great, but there is no place like home.

That sounds really good.
We had something similar yesterday night - coated sea bass fillets from M&S, crushed new potatoes (but coated with a little butter and lemon) and a home made slaw. Really nice on a warm evening.

That sounds nice as well.
Have you tried Filipino food? If you like Thai you may enjoy it as well. I went to a Filipino restaurant in Soho with some friends earlier this week and the food was really good - especially the prawn / salmon / pork belly skewers with dipping sauces.

I‘m all good again this morning after my comfort Thai food last night though!

Been here for tea, good food and atmosphere, and no washing up.

Last night's feast. We definitely hit our protein needs for the day.
Looks great Syl, I bet you had a good day out x
We had a tapas, grandson no2 had pizza.
That looks good. Brazilian BBQs are pretty popular here as well.
My GF is quite the carnivore and this place checked all of the boxes..
I hadn't been to one in years and forget how good they are..
Chicken casserole.
I made a keema curry tonight with coconut rice
Nice....I could do with a nice easy curry recipe for one...OH hates curry, I love it, but I tend not to make it just for me.
I hadn’t had fish fingers for years so tried some for tea with oven chips and peas…would have preferred with baked beans but had none in.
