Actually, they dont keep for that long. The original ones we had, supplied by the chemist in 2021, all dried up.
I know a different thing but quite a lot of the hand goes I panicked bought dried up as well.
The pasta is fine.

Shorty got a clean bill of health at the Vets, well except wanting to book her in to get her choppers cleaned.
Nothing wrong with her teeth and my tiny dog is not going under general anaesthetic and at a cost of around £300 just to get her teeth cleaned.
I'm brushing then with special liver flavoured dog toothpaste and a wee toddler toothbrush.
The toothbrush that they sent was more for a horse.

Ok had my flu jab at doctors but they ran out of shingles one. My doc said I must have it, so I went to our chemist. It's been taken over now, but the last owners, had it for many years, always did boosters, anything really. I asked for the booster, she asked my age, came back said it will cost me 250 pounds to have it. I walked out, that's disgusting. I didn't want it anyway. If I do I will go to my docs and get it free! What a bloody rip off!

Covid booster?
I thought it was obvious by now Mags that the covid vaccines don't do anything.

You are entitled to a free Shingles jab on the NHS. If your Dr has run out, he should either recall you when it's back in stock, or refer you to a practice or clinic nearby where they have it.
I had the flu jab last week...no side effects.

Shingles can be really bad if you catch it when you are older.
I remember my mum having it, she was really poorly. So, it's worth having the jab imo.

That's what my doc said. I might do then.

One of the presents my mum and dad bought me for 50th birthday was a Radley watch.
Very nice and not cheap and the strap broke after I had worn it twice.
Fell off onto the carpet when I took my jacket off.
I was lucky if you like it fell off in the house, the folks (not my parents) are being awkward about a refund/replacement.

Football, not just our defeat by the Sheep on Saturday but...
1. Wee Bradley Lowery being mocked
2. The Ibrox Disaster being mocked
3. The Child sex abuse scandal at Celtic being mocked
All at the weekend, banter is one thing but no need for that.

Ongoing building work being done on the two houses to my right.. They started in APRIL, and are still at it, banging, sawing, clattering about with scaffolding and skips, ruined my new drive, blocked us in countless times, even reversed work lorries up my drive, which now looks a mess and they WILL pay for.
But what has really irritated me is just speaking to the lady on the other side of this chaos.
She was almost in tears at the mess they have and are still causing. She has lived in her house as long as we have, like us, she is quiet, never causing anyone any distress, just a lovely woman.
She is now at the end of her tether, apart from everything mentioned, her drive has also been ruined.
I know people sometimes have work done, but 7 months of chaos and nuisance is ridiculous...they have built high rise hotels quicker.

Many years ago we built an extension, new kitchen built, and a few years ago a leanto. We never encroached on our neighbours property at all. What they're doing is ignorant and so wrong Syl. Can you complain about this, maybe to council. I know it's their house, but surely there are rules to follow. Was when we did building.

I haven't looked into it Mags, but I doubt the council would interfere on private property. They have followed the plans they submitted, I don't think a time limit is set.
My OH spoke to the buider next door 2 weeks ago, asked him how long it'd be before we could get our own men back to redo the drive....he said 5 weeks.
He is obviously lying.
