It's pretty much a given now that Farage wil be the next PM. It will take something major for that not to happen, like a war where Starmer somehow shows Churchill/Thatcher like qualities and brings victory to Britain. Kind of funny to try and imagine that as he is far more likely to take the knee and run up the white flag.
The response from the union that Farage upset:
"Thankfully workers in the UK have laws to protect them from bad employers. And soon employees will get even more protection from unscrupulous bosses when the Government’s new employment rights come in."
LoL its a circle of shit - the DEI employees looking to hide behind Starmers new employment laws so they can carry on wasting the taxpayers money.. The average salary for a DEI manager is over 75K!
Nige will sort them out!

We don't know who the hell we have in this country and what their intentions are.
"Five men are continuing to be questioned by police over an alleged terror plot in the UK.
The men, including four Iranian nationals, are being held over an alleged plan to "target a specific premises", the Metropolitan Police said.
They were arrested in Swindon, west London, Stockport, Rochdale and Manchester."
There have previously been calls to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps - a major military and political force with close ties to Iran's leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei - as a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK.
This would allow tighter control of UK borders and "severe penalties" for those who might be supporting the group", Nick Aldworth, a former national co-ordinator for counter terrorism policing, said.
"It becomes quite challenging when organisations that are proscribed are effectively part of the state," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
He added it was "unclear" how much support the group had in the UK."

You know, I think there's a reason the migrants are given mobile phones when they arrive.

If Farage becomes PM say goodbye to welfare for the disabled, retired and unemployed. He is a very rich man and sees the bigotry of elements of the working class as a mere stepping stone to get ahead. Aside from a tough stance on immigration what are any of Reform's other policies on anything ?? Exactly. They cite none because they don't have any, except secretly wanting to do away with the NHS. But they won't make private healthcare essential until they are firmly in power. And many of their poorer voters who can't afford private heathcare will realise how they have been conned and betrayed.

Reform haven't wasted any time - they are banning the flying of all non-British flags from government buildings under their control. So no more Ukrainian, Palestinian or Pride flags will be allowed.
"A Reform spokesperson said: "Reform UK will proudly fly the Union Jack, St George's Flag and County flags. Unlike the Tories and Labour, we are proud of our country and history."
I see it as a 'reclaim the flag/pride in your country' act, although I'm sure lefties and wokies will see it as an act of jingoism. For too long there has been a stigma around our national flags, and while it's true that far right groups have adopted them (it happens all over the world, not just in the UK), it shouldn't mean that the rest of the country can't have a national flag to represent them, and be able to take pride in that flag.
A Labour spokesman said 'it's unacceptable'. Of course he did

Reform are cracking on with it for sure.
I heard that they are intending to erect statues of well known English people across the country as well. The wokies will be apoplectic!
They will keep Labour on their toes as well - they will have to start doing things that appeal to the masses or their ratings will sink even lower. This is why last weeks local elections were far more important than they first seemed - they are bringing in a positive change to how the country is being run.
The government announced today that restrictions will be applied to visa applications for people from countries who are likely to overstay and seek asylum here. People from Nigeria, Sri Lanksa and Pakistan will now find it more difficult to come here to work or study. I don't think this would have happened without Reform lurking in the background.

Interesting to see how Reform get on in local government.
I guess the cultural stuff is important but it's not a substitute for the had work which needs to be done when it comes to reducing Council tax, improving public services including access to GPs and dentists, improving quality of education, home building and so on. Boring but vital to people's lives.
Generally I will give any party a chance (within reason) as long as they show they are economically competent.

For sure, they will have to do all the regular stuff as well as the cultural stuff - it's no good flying flags and erecting statues if they prove to be incompetent at everything else.
You would have to think though that their stance on immigration - not having asylum seekers living in their council controlled areas and deporting illegals (once in number 10), would mean many other problems would be eased by default, as there would be fewer people needing doctors, dentists and homes. Smaller number of children in classrooms should lead to a higher standard of education. Council tax could come down as well if there are fewer people to clean up after.
It makes you realise how negative mass immigration has been for this country, when you see how many problems could be solved if they weren't here.

”Ethiopian asylum seeker Tariku Hadgu attacked two female police officers in Bournemouth in 2025. He received a 16 week suspended prison sentence, £500 compensation order* and 12 week curfew.”
“The incident took place in Bournemouth on April 18, 2025. According to court records, police officers responded to a call about a man carrying a knife (he fit the description, no knife found). While being questioned, Hadgu assaulted both female police officers, pinning one to the ground and repeatedly hitting her until a member of the public stepped in to help.
The judge explained that the decision not to send him straight to jail was based on Hadgu’s young age and “immature brain development”.
Dorset Police Federation spoke out strongly “It is never acceptable to assault police officers… I am deeply concerned that the punishment does not correspond to the crime.” “
This thug claims he is 21 years old (don’t they all)…old enough to vote, drink, drive and serve in the military yet, apparently, too young to know that physically assaulting two female coppers is wrong.
He claims he was too drunk to remember anything…boozed up and in possession of cannabis…when has booze and weed been a “daily necessity” ?
Tweet away on this and no doubt you’ll be dragged to court.
Labour are implementing right wing measures like cuts to welfare to try to keep the Tory vote and entice potential Reform voters. Totally misguided. Reform voters would never vote for Labour because the do sissy things like show their respect for the historical injustice and prejudice black ppl have endured. Labour stopped the doctors strike by paying them a decent wage (which the Tories refused to do).Not much coverage of that in the small boat fixated media. Funny, that. I despise labour for abandoning the left but in fairness people are more inclined to be right wing in their values. At least Labour has reduced waiting times and genuinely wants to keep the NHS. Reform doesn't. They will ruthlessly underfund it like the Tories did until it goes to rack and ruin. The working class who don't like immigration think Reform respects them and millionaire Farage enjoys a jolly good pint and pork scratchings. Infact he would implement far more brutal cuts that affect the poorer in society than Labour ever would.

Also the economic reality is immigrants pay much needed tax working menial jobs the born and bred won't deign to do and of course are the life source of the NHS, as the majority of surgeons are immigrants. The whole point of Brexit was to solve the sinister problem that is immigration and yet there are more immigrants in the country paying tax NOW than before Brexit.. at the Tories request because there weren't enough qualified doctors , nurses or willing cleaners and porters in the UK alone. Why not ?? The element of today's youth who won't get out of bed unless they get £30 an hour are surely the problem, not immigration. The fact we don't have enough doctors and medical staff in this country is surely the more pressing question but nobody in the media ever seems to ask it. Instead there is the constant focus on people sadly not dying in small boats b4 they reach our shores. We need to start asking the questions we won't like the answers to instead of scapegoating foreigners.

Illegal immigrants are a problem, we have no idea who they are or where they go.
We also need to limit the numbers of legal immigrants, for the reasons already given here.
I also have never seen or heard any sane person state they hope illegals drown before their small boats arrive here.

That was sarcasm and crass of me, I apologise. But it does get fustrating that nobody bothers to ask why there aren't enough medical staff born and trained in this country. There certainly used to be. Why not now?
