India is really suffering now. Almost 3000 people died there yesterday, they are running out of oxygen. A Dr said this morning that people are dying in hospital grounds even before they can get any treatment.

Got my second jab yesterday. Felt fine until about 5 am. Not sure if it was the vaccine or the 6 IPAs I had on my group ride last night.

Yeah but like Trump and Bolsonaro the so called 'stongman' that bastard Modi has a huge base of fanatical followers no matter what he does.
I do hate to say it but in general the human race is as thick as shit to the point when they would far rather die before admitting their glorious leader is a psychopath.
Meanwhile Brazil and India burn.
Thank God for the Yanks that Biden got in.

That line has been around in Texas for at least 100 years. 😜

That's an old saying. Fit to be tied, is another expression I love.
Here in the UK we'd say "Dear God, I feel like I've been shagged by a rhino!".

Fit to be tied is a lot like madder than a wet hen.
On another note, the effects of the second shot are gone and no longer have a hitch in my gitty up and I got some pep in my step.

Speaking of vaccines, I just got am email from Uber. Here in the states you can schedule a vaccine through Uber, with a local pharmacy.
So now you can get picked up at your door, driven to the pharmacy and brought home. Doesn't get much easier than that.

Good service....do you have to pay for your jabs?
We are now calling all 42 year olds....still on track.

Jabs are free.
I didn't really.read much of the email but I imagine the ride is discounted.
In Texas we are calling everyone with a pulse. Older teens are getting it if they want it.
I have seen announcements at the government run centers for folks to just walk up because they have more doses than arms to put them in.
I imagine there might be some issues in small towns out in the middle of nowhere, but I haven't heard of any.
Everyone I know, that wants the shot has had it. My 27 year old secretary has only had her first.

Texas is ahead of us.
We (the UK) are now up to 40's and over....the infection and death rates have plummeted, thank God.

Thanks to the surges around the world the daily death toll is above 15, 000 again.
Thank goodness for the NHS and Oxford Astrazenica as we have it beat here now (if people don't go insane when all the restrictions are relaxed that is).
