I love "Gone With The Wind" and must have watched it dozens of times.
A few years ago I bought a book about the making of a legend and that picture I've posted was mentioned in it as a wee bit of trivia.
It's the only time the four main characters appear in a scene together.

I love that movie too. It does shamelessly gloss over slavery and the book is terribly patronising but it was a different era. I'm surprised it hasn't been banned by the woke crowd. I thought Mammy was brilliant. All the cast were.

You might not be able to as a kid but you most certainly can as an adult.
Most of my family are no blood relation to me and those that were and were toxic I cut loose a very long time ago.

Yes, we can blame family only so much, I could still be having a crap life blaming my family for it being crap or deciding like I did to make it better despite them.
As kids, we are pretty powerless as adults we have to realise we are no longer powerless kids

I'm having traditional Haggis, Neeps an Tatties the night but if you don't fancy that how about a Haggis Burger!! 🍔
Just heard someone on the radio talking about vegan haggis...whatever next?
I had vegetarian haggis once, the worst thing I've ever tasted!!
Some things just are not meant to be replicated.
Can you imagine a vegan fillet steak?

Eeew, it looks like roadkill.
I am not vegan or veggie, but I dont eat much red meat, mainly because I dont like the look of it.
Why someone who is against eating meat would want to eat something that looks like a bloody steak, is beyond me.
