@Fluff….really? You didn’t notice any uneven patches/streaks around the tops of her thighs, the underside of her boobs, her lower neck area and especially her fingers?
My eyesight must be worse than I thought, I guess 🤷🏻♀️ But who knew commenting on a spray tan would cause such anguish! 😂
I didn't but it doesn't matter! I will up the brightness factor on my tablet lol.
I think it was just the INTENSITY of the critique that surprised me a little but it didn't cause anguish, honestly.
That's how I felt. It was like whoa, what did that girl do to them?
TBF, I think her physique and looks were attacked because I posted her picture on a thread where there's a concerted effort to challenge every position I post, even when supported by experts in the field.
If someone else had posted her pic, I don't think the judgement would have been as harsh..
I disagree Maddog. I don't want t to offend Vam but that is the way she posts. She is very passionate about what she says. No matter who posted the picture she would have noted the tan 's imperfections. It's not because you posted it..I think she would admit this herself.
I don't attack what you post. It was actually refreshing to see a lady on the cover of Sports Illustrated who doesn't fit the stereotypical definition of feminine perfection. Yet you thought I had attacked her appearance , it was me that said I didn't think she looked like a man and I honestly didn't.
I also have noted some of your advice. But when I first joined you tended to post video's that didn't pertain to me so I didn't watch them, that's all.

As the saying goes - If my auntie had bollocks she'd be my uncle.
But rest assured, nobody else would have posted that pic - only you.
Oh well there we are then.
Stop casting aspersions about your Auntie, she's a lovely woman by all accounts.

@ Fluffy…no offense taken. But I do question the ‘very passionate’ part You’re absolutely right about the rest, though.
Pretty much the only issue I post passionately about, is my unrelenting loathing of Donald Trump. In everything else, I try to post in a plain-talking way. I‘m often thinking in Italian when posting in English, which I realise can negatively affect how I express myself.
Btw, I’m starting to view you as the Whine’s official Dawg Whisperer. He does sometimes seem to need placating, so keep up the good work!
Barksdale alluded to functional strength earlier..
The world is full of heavy things that need lifting..
Exactly this.
Incidentally, that clip from DOAC that you previously posted sums up really well why I want to preserve my functional capability as I age. I have busted my ass to raise my kids, leave them a legacy and hopefully enjoy my retirement. It would suck if I got through to my 60s and I couldn't go travelling with my wife and hike up that hill to enjoy the sunrise with her, or play with my grandkids in the park or go cycling with my friends, stopping off for a nice lunch somewhere.

I doubt anyone else would have sought out a really masculine looking woman, then compared her favourably to 'anyone reading this'.
The following comments were mostly valid, I did wonder if she had taken steroids, because usually, when a young woman with a rounded face and boobs, ends up with a chiselled jaw and a chest, it's not usually through weight loss and training alone.
Do you even know why I posted her pic?
I stated it more than once..

Err...was it to prove muscle weighs more than fat? or that going on the scales alone she would be considered obese? or was it because posting a pic of a masculine looking woman would be sure to get comments....so you could keep banging on about the same old??

It was the first part. It was simply to point out the issues with the scale.
I didn't consider her to be masculine looking. The women of the forum took that ball and ran with it.
Not nearly as well as Ilana can run with it..😉

We must be a truly inferior group of women here, not being able to run like a bloke with a silly shaped ball in our hands, where did we all go wrong?
And if you seriously don't see this lady as masculine looking, I think you need to go to Spec Savers.

I didn't think of that. If you are posting in your second language firstly I take off my (non existent)hat off to you but am genuinely very impressed. It does explain a lot.
I think it does make your more critical remarks sound more intense than they actually are. But sounding passionate is not a bad thing although I think people have misunderstood your tone in the past, possibly doing you a dis service.
As for Trump I share your unrelenting loathing but I fear him also as he has the power and pathology to hurt so many. It may be too much to hope but I hope he goes too far trying to sue a Judge here and and a court official there and he somehow loses his Presidency. (If such a law exists of course. If not it should be created just for him!)
