I went to bed feeling fine, woke up and it feels my like my head is in a bucket. The only other time I felt like this was after I had scuba dived....swishing in my ear, everything is echoing....it's bloody awful.
There was a story in the paper about some woman with the same symptoms. She had a iddy widdy spider nesting in her ear.
Coincidentally, I mentioned that to my OH....but I was joking.
You could always stick a dead fly at the entrance to your ear....you know....entice it out.

Get some olive oil in there, apparently is either flushes them or suffocates them.

I am sincerely hoping it's not an insect.
It still feels like my head is in a wind tunnel....very odd.

Try some wax remover, it could be that, hopefully.

Don't need it Mags, got up this morning, and it's righted itself.
It was very odd, maybe a side effect of a cold I have had, anyway, I feel fine now.

Joking aside, it sounds like tinnitus which can often sound like water or a rushing noise.

If it was tinnitus, it's righted itself quickly. I know a couple of people who have it, and they say it's there all the time.

Myth: Tinnitus is always chronic and permanent. Fact: Tinnitus can be chronic or temporary. Tinnitus isn't always a long-term symptom. People often experience temporary tinnitus as the result of a one-time exposure to loud noise.

Years ago we saw a Blues Brothers tribute act in a smallish venue, I definitely had tinnitus after that, it lasted a few days.
What I felt yesterday was exactly the same as when I had been scuba diving. That lasted about 3 weeks, and the best way to describe it was as if my head was in a bucket....horrible.

There's a woman I see every morning when I'm walking Shorty.
She has a wee white dug and walks about like lady muck, crosses the road when she seems us coming.
One of these mornings I'm going to shout "excuse me missus, but it was your dug that bit my father"
"My dug has never bitten anyone, so drop the attitude"
😠

I can trump that. Last Thursday was my friend's birthday so we decided to order some donuts from Greggs, coz she loves them. Ordered at 5pm and they arrived at 9.30pm. She had just gone home
