It looks beautiful there Vicky, very much like some little harbours in Cornwall or Wales. This summer we planned a road trip round the UK, we were just going to pack and go.....have to wait till next year now.
Aye wait until next year Syl and hopefully things will be back to normal.
I don't think many of us will be going away this year, my dad fancied a weekend away for his 80th birthday but that's been knocked on the head too.
That is incredibly poignant and so sweet.
Hiya Vicks, hope you're well. x

Yes I feel that a 2nd wave is inevitable, OP. The recent lifting of several restrictions will impact on the figures But it will be a lot milder than before. In duration & magnitude. We will be far more organised and experienced too.
What with families now able to meet at last, there will be mini celebrations everywhere this weekend. bbq weather will be a bonus.

Hi Cans!!
Aye i'm doing fine, i'm enjoying the nice weather.
I hope you're doing okay, I haven't spoken to you for ages.
I'm looking up cooling mats for the dog, she's too hot and although I trimmed her fringe last week, I don't want to give her an all over haircut.
What's the betting, she won't lie on it.

B&M bargains have them.
Got 2 last year for our dog, and she loves them. I think they were £5 each.

I agree not many of us will be wanting to go away in this present climate....and tbh whilst the weather is like this we don't need to be going too far afield anyway to enjoy it. Hopefully you are sharing some of the glorious warmth up there in Scotland.
I'm sure your dad will have his family around and be able to have a good time on his 80th without going away. x

Aye it's a smashing day here Syl and I took Daisy for a nice walk to the park.
Now she's too tired to even play with wee Frankie the bichon frise next door.
We'll arrange a nice dinner for him and he's talking about going away next year.
Every year for about ten years he would be down in Blackpool this month but that was cancelled and him and my mum are planning on going to Dunoon next year and taking my aunt with them.
My Uncle who died earlier this month's wife, it will do them all good. x

Scotland's Coronavirus death rate is one of the worst in the world according to a stat expert.
Our death rate is higher than Italy and the US but lower than the UK as a whole
The second wave is almost inevitable watching the scenes in the news today.
It's a catastrofuck of epic proportions.

R rate lowest in the Country in London. Touch wood that stops a second wave.
I bet some of these people think its gone because it was announced the other day on one day that London only had 24 new cases detected. Some people read too much into figures. I think sometimes The Government and the experts release too much info. Not always a good idea.
Anyway they might be very lucky and not get a second wave. Because of that R rate.

Does anybody anywhere during these demonstrations follow the advice given?
In America, here and all over the world I see absolutely no evidence for it - by totally ignoring the rules and protesting one man's death they are all putting millions in danger of a second wave.

Don't say that on DS Syl - it would be regraded as 'racist' by the woke mod collective - apparently mentioning that the lack of social distancing was putting lives in danger got a member a perma-ban.
How pathetic.

I wont say it on DS, I am not a member.
I have seen you and others say how posters on there are not allowed even a modicum of free speech ...forums like that are not for me.

Remember when Wetwipe creamed his jeans when I said 'all lives matter' over on Newsfix.
