Hi (((Magz))) Syl & John, hope all are well. Yeah I know it's been awhile. Had my cataracts removed so I can see better now. Sorry Magz, still not doing well dealing with my son's death. It just keeps getting worse not better. :(

I can't imagine it being any worse. My heart goes out to anyone going through grief from losing a child. I wouldn't wish that one on anyone. They say when you lose someone you love you will no longer be the same, true that! One woman told me that you would also lose all your friends. That turned out to be true too. :'( I didn't know Syl had a thread like that. I never came across it.

Well that’s very true, however why would any of us post personal stuff (myself included) if we all thought like that. What on earth is anyone going to do with the information? I doubt anyone would be the remotest bit interested outside of that section.

Only people who post regularly and we know/hope are genuine are allowed in that section, for the simple reason people do talk more openly in there.
It was opened because a member at the time wanted somewhere where she felt she could talk more openly, and it has grown from there.
But like we have said several times....never put on any forum private info you don't want to be seen on the internet, we can never be 100% sure that people wont repeat elsewhere something they have seen anywhere on the internet.

Friday afternoon I had an appointment with a doctor (it's why I needed the test) and he had my covid test results. I had already got them Friday morning giving me the all clear. On my way home I walked into a medical center called CityMD and saw a doctor about a painful wrist. Had an XRay was told everything was ok just an inflamed tendon and he prescribed me a weeks supply of Naproxen 500MG. (it worked within hours of taking) That visit took maybe half an hour. I paid my co-payment of $70 and left.
On Monday I'm having another procedure related to the first one. This all stemmed (apart from the wrist exam) from a video call with my Doctor on Wednesday afternoon.
And you lot think our healthcare system is shit and the NHS is great. I'm from the UK and have used the NHS so I know which is the one I prefer.

Difference is if you didn't have a ready $70 you wouldn't be treated, whereas we have the option to use the NHS or pay privately.
Granted there is a wait to be treated for standard procedures, but NHS care and treatment is there immediately for rich and poor alike when needed for emergencies.
