I've never tried that Vam, i must give it a go.
Turnips are also called 'Neeps' and 'Tumshies' here and are used at Halloween instead of pumpkins.
It takes ages to carve a face into one, so some cheats use drills.

I love turnips/swede mashed with carrots too.... also roasted with carrots, onions, parsnips and potatoes! :yum:

One of the reasons I still enjoy reading over the road is the COVID thread. Been following it for ages, mostly cos it’s interesting to keep up with how things are going in the UK in real time. But the most recent 20 pages or so have been :no: - Rag like a terrier with lockjaw when she gets going, gawd love her! Up against a newbie who refuses to back down too. Angries on both sides x 100!

He doesn't understand that he's the main reason people have stopped posting. Dogs was only ever really a place for posters from other closed down forums to post together. Stoo and his succession of bad admin picks has slowly but surely aided in the decline of dogs and no amount of claiming that forums are slowing down is no excuse for the fact that dogs is just badly run. One of the best things he did was get rid of vicky. the worst thing he did was replace her with HF. That alone shows how dumb stoo really isdqx4
