If he lives in a society where he is legally able to change sex from a man to a woman, then in that society he should be legally able to enter women only competitions.  Otherwise that society would be constructed hypocritically.

 No he should not.

Sometimes people have to make concessions in life, a man 'changing sex' still has the bulk and muscle he developed all his life when he was a man.

To expect to compete  with natural born women in sport is simply unfair.

He knows it, the women who compete against him/her  know it, and luckily, the authorities have seen sense, and over ruled it.

 Doesn't matter what you get chopped off, altered or hormonally tweaked, you will always possess the physiology of your birth sex.  And women must be protected from those masquerading as trans women when in fact they are lecherous perverted men getting their rocks off by being in women's intimate spaces.    So, if this offends a minority so be it.

Didn't know much about Tennant apart from he played Dr Who and was Scottish.   A quick internet search reveals he has been a "long" advocate for LGBTQ+ "rights" and is now an advocate for trans children.   It also says that he keeps his children out of the limelight and is highly protective of them preventing media and public scrutiny.  He has an adopted son Ty who is an actor and hence is in the limelight.
