I may be wrong, but I think the only woman who exercises with weights here is me, and according to you, mine are too light to have ant effect, obviously I don't agree.
So though I know you like posting vids of women who lift weights, I doubt anyone else is interested....that's not to say you should stop, just that...does anyone ever watch them??

It's not according to me that they are too light. While I know what's really effective, I don't have the background to call myself an expert. The people I cite do though..
I don't know who watches what..
Fluffy seems to watch them.
She might be at the gym right now swinging some kettle bells..

I somehow doubt it.
My weights suit me, the 'experts' may think they are too light to build any muscle, but that's not my aim. My aim is (as I have said) to do various repetitive exercises with two 81b weights, to keep my arms toned....and it works.

Why put experts in quotes?
Do you follow the advice of your physio?

Yeah but that bus....
We will all be hit by the metaphorical bus called time..
Very few of us will be hit by an actual bus. Or is this a bigger problem in the UK than I'm aware of?.

You can be fit as a fiddle and die by accident or never exercise in your life and live to be 90. What you do inbetween should be to live your life, enjoy it, bring joy to others and not obsess about how long you can live or what you must deprive yourself of to get there.

Enjoying is the difference between healthspan and lifespan.
Enjoyment is rarely a byproduct of decreased physical and mental abilities..
When I took my first child home from the hospital she rode in her mother's arms in the car..That was pretty common in the day, but we're better informed now. Nobody does that even though the risk of death is extremely low..
My parents smoked with me in the car. It hasn't kill me yet, so I guess there's nothing wrong with the practice. I'm sure they enjoyed it. I sure enjoyed cigarettes..
We know how to increase healthspan now. Seems a bit silly to ignore making some very easy changes to your life, so that you can be more active later in life..

Coincidentally, the GP said more or less the same thing to my OH today.
He went, because we have been looking into some of the medication he takes for diabetes Type 2, we wondered if he could come off the meds, (one is a PPI, and it's linked to dementia with long term use) I pointed out that he eats chocolate and is not that careful with his diet. The Dr looked at OH's tests, notes and history, his advice, enjoy what you enjoy, his opinion is my OH is obviously fit and active, enjoying life, so carry on doing what he is doing, life is for living as well as looking after ourselves.

That's a bit more than doing some effective exercise 3-6 hours a week and not eating a bunch of shit thats bad for you..
It becomes a real problem when people reply to your posts and replicate the damned thing all over the forum.
I post on my android.
I think I got it..

Nope. It's his obsession, I just leave him to it.
