Vegetable pizza and salad...cooking it from frozen, which I don't usually do, normally I buy them fresh, hopefully it'll be OK.
Pizza here also but a meat fest one.
I loathe cooking but have tried in the past to make my own pizzas but felt it was too much faffing about so I buy frozen, I add extra bits sometimes but generally just bung it in the oven for 20 mins or so. My type of cooking.

I don't particularly enjoy cooking either, but needs must.
I like pizza's...often go for the hot pepperoni, jalapeño pepper ones, but this one is veggie, and frozen, not sure if I shouldn't have defrosted it first.
I have a defrost button on this cooker....haven't used it yet.

I'd imagine thawing out the veggies would make them soggy-ish? but I'm no cook. fwiw, I've added small florets of frozen cauli/sliced onion/garlic onto a frozen pizza and it all cooked just fine.
Taking a veg pizza straight from the freezer and cooking is fine (even Google agrees )

Yeah, it was OK.
I prefer cooking from fresh, it was a bit too crispy for my taste.

I generally lower the cooking time as I’ve had pizzas a little too crunchy too. That or lower the temp slightly if cooking with, say garlic bread.

Yep...I think I had the temp too high. I will stick to fresh in future.
Adding goats cheese to veg pizza is good, not sure if it's to everyone's taste though.

Hardly healthy. I give zero fucks.

When I can be assed with the faff (i.e - very rarely), I make fresh pizza bases to then freeze - dough + passata/tomato purée + burrata (creamier, almost buttery mozzarella) + seasoning.
Bake from frozen, after topping with fresh cherry tomatoes + thinly sliced pitted black olives + (my personal favourite) a jar of drained chopped artichoke hearts

I agree, black olives topping a pizza makes for a very tasty pizza indeed..
I worked in a bistro pub ages ago, owner was Italian, brilliant chef. He made and sold a lot of pizzas. His pet hate was when people shoved the olives to one side.
Mama Mia...such a waste.

😂 No self-respecting pizza is complete without black olives Other than my personal little artichoke quirk, I always prefer to stick with a simple traditional Margherita pizza recipe.
And knowing how much I try to avoid having to cook, plus keeping in mind your upcoming post-surgery convalescence, I’m gonna give you a truly simple, quick, but seriously yummy sauce to mix into some penne/macaroni.
Can of chopped tomatoes + tub of mascarpone cheese + finely chopped garlic cloves (2 cloves is enough for me, but it’s always to taste) + salt/pepper.
Chuck the lot into a blender for a quick whoosh.
While the pasta is simmering, verrrrrry gently heat the sauce on a low heat, giving it an occasional stir.
Drain pasta, pour the sauce in & mix well. Add fresh grated Parmesan…annnnd, enjoy!😋 (goes great with a green salad on the side)

That sounds delicious, I’m partial to pasta. tbh had to look up the cheese as I’ve never heard of it before now.

😊 @Anony …. mascarpone is typically used in Italian desserts like tiramisu and cannoli, but is also a regular ingredient in savoury dishes too. Like my super-simple sauce 😉
And if you fancy a change from Philadelphia cream cheese, it’s delicious on a toasted bagel.

OH is in charge of the kitchen for a week or so.
Last night, garlic chicken, chips, and a huge salad....which was nice, and the first proper meal I have eaten in days.
Tonight...we are having chicken again, I am leaving it up to him how he cooks it.

He would be gagging throughout.
What I am having, is smoked salmon, with either a couple of scrambled eggs, or salad. (probably salad, I never get tired of eating it)

Was out for a (mild!) curry with friends last night, and out to a BBQ lunch tomorrow.
So I’m having some ‘finger food’ in front of the telly tonight - I made some guacamole and chucked in some shrimp and very finely-chopped red onion, with some Lebanese flatbread to scoop it all up (that’s like pita bread, but much softer and floppier).
Pizza here also but a meat fest one.
