Does anyone believe a word that snivelling back stabber Cummings says?
No, it's sour grapes, nastiness and spite. He's the Prince Harry (or handbag as I call him), of politics!

Then again it is Cummings.

It wasn't as good as some claimed it was going to be. The other week it was said sound recordings and all sorts were coming. :D
Most if not all of what was said was not hard fact. Just one word against another stuff. I note how he's saying Boris is a terrible leader and just crap and yet funny enough he chose to stay working for him. By his side. He's worked with Boris since 2016. Until he was pushed out of course. Due to having swipes at Boris Mrs.
The part where he said that he wasn't smart enough for the job that he had made me laugh. It's actually sheer negligence to do a job that you are confident you aren't fit for! So maybe he is actually stupid then. Lol
Next week will be interesting it's Hancock's turn on behalf of himself and the Government to formally reply. Now it is clearly gloves off time. It will be interesting. To see what is said. For example I heard the other week claims that Cummings was by no means a fan of lockdowns. Now he's purporting to be someone who wouldn't have ever thought twice about having them at any point. Maybe evidence of his actual advice and words will be produced next week. Who knows.

It's a lot easier to say things were done wrong in retrospect, the problem was, as this virus was unknown territory, it was trial and error.
Obviously some actions taken could have been different, and had any leader in any country known then what they know now they would no doubt have done things differently.
Cummings seems to be a very spiteful man, it'll be intersting to see how Hancock responds to being called a liar unfit for the job.

Cummings is the sort of bloke, much like most of our 'rulers' who should be parachuted into a flat roof pub in a sink estate to see real life enacted for once.
The response from Hancock will be fascinating.

But they did try to follow the medical advice of the experts....obviously a bit difficult when they were not all in agreement. I honestly think no matter what they did half the country would have slated them.
The handling of care homes at the start of the pandemic, and the lack of border control throughout are my two criticisms....apart from that I think they have done as well as any others could have done.
I think we should all praise God that Corbyn hadn't been leader throughout the last couple of years.

Care homes, Hancocks point the other day was valid if completely true. We just didn't have a large enough testing capability to do what we would like. At the start of the pandemic. Hard clinical choices had to be made. Jenny Harris did say those sent to a care home without a test overall was a very small number. Also care home were hit equally as hard in many Countries from what I can gather.
Not his fault per se. If all is true regarding testing it's the fault of the Country spanning over years. And consecutive Governments. We had to build a huge system from a very small starting point. Unlike Germany for example when it comes to testing it was largely already in place. A large diagnostic testing industry and the ability to continually manufacture, many, many, tests really quickly was already there.

One thing that proves the Government isn't nowhere near as shite as Cummings made them out to be in his 7hrs performance. Is the vaccine programe.
The difference between it and most of the other choices and very tough often clearly neigh-on impossible choices that had to be made throughout the pandemic. Is the fact vaccines have obviously been done before. The core processes from start to finish all that it entails and the methodologies that are required for it to be successful are long established.
If you buggered up the vaccine side of things that would be more unforgivable and incompetent than anything else in my view.

An explosive new study claims researchers found 'unique fingerprints' in COVID-19 samples that they say could only have arisen from manipulation in a laboratory
22-page paper authored by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen set to be published in the Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery
The study showed there's evidence to suggest Chinese scientists created the virus while working on a Gain of Function project in a Wuhan lab
Gain of Function research, which was temporarily outlawed in the US, involves altering naturally-occurring viruses to make them more infectious in order to study their potential effects on humans
According to the paper, Chinese scientists took a natural coronavirus 'backbone' found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a new 'spike', turning it into the deadly and highly transmissible COVID-19
The researchers, who concluded that COVID-19 'has no credible natural ancestor', also believe scientists reverse-engineered versions of the virus to cover up their tracks
'We think that there have been retro-engineered viruses created,' Dalgleish told DailyMail.com. 'They've changed the virus, then tried to make out it was in a sequence years ago.'
The study also points to 'deliberate destruction, concealment or contamination of data' in Chinese labs and notes that 'scientists who wished to share their findings haven't been able to do so or have disappeared'
Until recently, most experts had staunchly denied the origins of the virus were anything other than a natural infection leaping from animals to humans
Earlier this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci defended US funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, saying the $600,000 grant was not approved for Gain of Function research

Well, there's a surprise. I mean, most people I speak to agree this nightmare came out of the lab. So how come the powers that be can't accept this might well be the truth? Instead, we all die for it while Facebook bans anyone who dares question it.
There are inserted DNA sequences from HIV in that strain of coronavirus. Which is why people are not dying from the actual virus but from their own immune response to it. It's like the fucking Sorcerer's Apprentice. Wuhan created something they couldn't control when it got out and it just got bigger and bigger and never stopped giving.

While analyzing COVID-19 samples last year in an attempt to create a vaccine, Dalgleish and Sørensen discovered 'unique fingerprints' in the virus that they say could only have arisen from manipulation in a laboratory.
They said they tried to publish their findings but were rejected by major scientific journals which were at the time resolute that the virus jumped naturally from bats or other animals to humans.
Even when former MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove spoke out publicly saying the scientists' theory should be investigated, the idea was dismissed as 'fake news.'
Over a year later, leading academics, politicians and the media finally flipped, and have begun to contemplate the possibility that COVID-19 escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China - a lab where experiments included manipulating viruses to increase their infectiousness in order to study their potential effects on humans.
Well, they weren't going to tell the world what really happened, were they?
