I have done a couple of the above...the nearest I came to injury was almost drowning, and falling off horses.

I've done horse riding. Since I was eight years old. And yes, I've come a cropper more than once. one time really badly. Knocked myself out. Got taken to hospital.

My falls were not so dramatic. The worst one was on my sister's horse. She told me to ride him to the edge of the field, then turn him, and he would canter back...only he didn't canter, he galloped, and headed straight for a fence she had trained him to jump. I knew as we were approaching the jump I was going to fall off him.
I was lucky though. I got up, a bit bruised but OK.

IT's so scary when they bolt. All you can do is sit there and pray

All I remember is seeing this high fence and knowing he was going to jump it. I have never ridden over jumps, I knew I didn't have a hope in hell of staying on. My lovely sister knew as soon as I turned him he would bolt for it....unfortunately she forgot to mention it to me.
Teaching manners is a good thing, sadly lacking here.

It will soon be 65 years since Moira Anderson went missing and the police are now going to use drones to try and solve the mystery of where the schoolgirl is buried.
The disapperarance of the 11 year old Coatbridge girl is one of Scotland's longest running murder investigations and despite numerous searches over the years, the police have been unable to find her body.
It's now known that Alexander Gartshore (a known Pedophile) killed the schoolgirl but he took the secret of where he hid her body to his grave.
Gartshore was on bail for raping his children's babysitter at the time Moira went missing but was still allowed to work as a bus driver and Moira was last seen alive getting on a bus.
Now you would think the police would follow up such information in the days that followed her going missing but they did not.
My Granda was actually doing the morning shift on the bus that Gartshore took over in the afternoon and the police waited 35 years to ask him about what he remembered that day.
He's mentioned in the book Gartshore's daughter wrote about the case.
The police only ever made a half-hearted attempt at finding out what happened to Moira and Gartshore escaped justice.
Her mother 'Died of a broken heart' a few years after Moira went missing and it was said she would walk the streets in all weathers asking people 'Have you seen my wee lassie'
I really do hope Moira is found and given a proper burial but after all this time it seems unlikely.
Another tragic case of a murdered child when the body was never found.
His poor mother spent the rest of her life trying to find him but sadly passed away before he was found.
Some locals here think Moira was dumped in 'Dicks Pond' because the options were limited that day because of the blizzard.

It's horrific. So many children go missing and no one knows what happened to them, where they're buried. Peados take their secrets with them when they die. The poor families. Hindley and Brady could've told Keith's mum, but made her suffer all her life, devastating.

I honestly can't think of anything worse than a child going missing, then never found.
It would be the uncertainty, are they alive or dead, did they suffer, if they are alive, where are they?.
No way to lay them to rest or even say goodbye...that would be heartbreaking.

Just back from the Vets with Daisy and i had to carry her from the car to the clinic and then carry her again when we got out.
The strong wind was scaring her.
In other news...that was another £50.
£71 last week and £50 today, still her ears better but at that price I'm very relieved.

Heartbreaking seeing her on those moors with a shovel trying to find Keith, i think that bastard Brady knew or at least had a good idea where he'd buried him but just wouldn't say.
They reckon he left clues in a suitcase but i think his lawyer has it and won't hand it over.

There's a programme on Channel 4 on Monday about the Moors Murders, i think it's more about David Smith than Brady or Hindley though.

Really? He's dead, so why hang on to it? You'd think the law would get an order to get if off him.
