Went down to feed the birds and there was feathers everywhere, bastard cats killed a bird.
If you want a cat, then keep it in the damn house.

 Nature is cruel.
I don't like the thought of cats being caged in, maybe a bell round their necks is one answer.

Yes bell alerts the birds, lots of cat owners do this.

Aye Shorty's got a bell because she's a ratter, she used to sneak about the garden like a mini assassin till I stopped her.

I just bought gift cards for Spas near my daughters.
I couldn't just buy the cards but I had to become a member of three spas today.
I am now a member (free) of spas near Dallas, Houston and Austin..
Can't wait for the 14 emails a day about deals on facials..

 How irritating.
I would demand a refund Mags, you haven't signed for it, and is there any proof it was left on your doorstep?

You will get a refund or replacement as it's the law for distance selling that it's the sellers responsibility to ensure you get the goods. If it goes missing it doesn't matter if the carrier is to blame. That's why they have insurance. So make sure you insist on a replacement or refund.

Do you know that cats are responsible for the deaths of up to 270 million British animals per year? A quarter of them birds? That's outrageous and utterly avoidable if the cats wear a bell.

It should be compulsory for cats to wear bells, Digs.
Big ginger one roaming my garden just now like the feline Al Capone.

I have never said any such thing.
In any case leather or suede seldom needs cleaning.

My husband stunk the living room out last night after dinner for a good 3 hours, it’s disgusting.  Do you put up with that ?

Unfortunately, having more men than women in my family....it's sometimes inevitable.
I don't know why, but it is a fact that men stink far more than the fairer sex.Â

Home insurance has risen by almost 50% from my last years bill. They won't budge, said they now send out the lowest offer so no room for manoeuvre. The huge rise is due to the weather and others making claims...not me though.Â
Had a ring round and apart from companies I have never heard of, everywhere has gone up.
