Sliced roast chicken breasts, spring onions, tomatoes and mushrooms all mixed in a dish and seasoned. Too warm to faff about cooking.

Ready poached salmon steaks served cold (sainsburys) sliced onion, tomato, cucumber and beetroot in olive oil and balsamic.
Another one who is too hot to cook.

I'm in a salmon phase right now. Last night I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. For some reason I made the scrambled eggs far too milky, so it spoiled the salmon, even soaking the excess up with bread didn't work.
I didn't enjoy it one bit.

One of my favourite meals, with brown sauce. I used to rush home from school when I knew it was for tea. Dawdled when it was mince and carrots.

homemade Southern fried chicken with med veg. By the time I've cooked it I'm not hungry. It's so much better when someone else does it
I made some honeycomb ice cream too. It's that rich and creamy it should be illegal. I love my ice cream machine. Best thing I ever bought.

Honeycomb ice cream sounds gorgeous.
I don't have an ice cream maker, but I do love Haagen Dazs ice creams.

Home made is better than any commercial ice cream. But it's an arse to make.

Most home made or home grown is better than any shop bought, but life is too short.

Plan on having a Sunday roast, plenty of chicken and oodles of gravy. I ice-cream to follow.

Not much of a hardship, I think salads are my favourite food, especially with fish.

Tapas...olives stuffed with garlic, hummus, peppers stuffed with cheese, tortilla, and tomatoes with goats cheese.
Bit of a mix up...but it'll be nice.

That all looks so good!
I’ve been going a bit stir crazy, so I finally met up with some friends for lunch today. First time I’ve been out (other than for groceries) in more than a week. But I behaved myself and just had a chicken Caesar salad and a blush spritzer 😇

But isn't it great to get out socially again when you have been confined in for a week or so?...and your lunch sounds good.
For tea...pan frying bacon, mushrooms, onions, red peppers, garlic and peppercorns, add wine (out of cream, so it's the healthy option) with pasta.
