Aww, moments like that can either be funny...or the opposite.
We buried my mums ashes under a beautiful rhodedendron in the garden. I asked my grandson if he wanted to spoon some of her ashes in the hole we had made, he just looked at me and said "is this normal?"....it made us laugh.
I've only ever been at one burial, it was a family friend in his local churchyard.
The minister handed the box of soil to his young grandson who obviously didn't know what to do and instead of sprinkling some soil, he just emptied the box and left none for the rest of the immediate family.

Aww bless.
I like the idea of throwing a rose on the coffin...it won't apply to me though, I just want to be cremated, the less fuss the better.
As long as everyone has a good do afterwards, that'll do for me.

My Granny's wake turned into a party, there was people singing and eventually folk were getting help out drunk as lords.
She would have been happy.

I watched a blast from the past yesterday, Worzel Gummidge.
Worzel's trial..do you find him 'Guilty or very very guilty'
There's a Newfoundland dog in my town, he gets a sausage roll out the bakers each morning and carries it home all proud in his mouth.

I would love to see him, Mags.
I do love dogs, beautiful animals who only want love, food, a walk and a belly scratch.

I'll be off now for a few days because it's my birthday on Saturday, hopefully i've dropped enough hints about the Erskine shop and someone has picked up on them.
It's Gabby's birthday on Saturday too, so you have a great day as well Gabs!!

My little dog being described as a 'Wee ball of furry joy' by someone we met on our walk.
My Westie doesn't have a bad bone in her body, humans could learn a lot from dogs.
Hudson the Leonberger was at the vets (Same one as Shorty) yesterday for some x-rays.
We've been having a guess his weight competiton, he's just ten months old.
