According to reports, those Russian schoolchildren had been out protesting against the war in Ukraine and Putin had them arrested.
Probably give them ten years hard labour, he's deranged enough.
😠
Good for her.
Unfortunately many of the Russian people will be believing all the false info they are being fed, just as many Brits slavishly believe everything the papers and news channels tell them.
The Russian people don't have the same unsupervised access to the internet as we do.

I think it's even worse now Syl for people in Russia. They're only being allowed a few news channels and only one's that are approved by Putin.

I've been reading "Somebody's Mother, Somebody's Daughter" by Carol Ann Lee.
It's about the Yorkshire Ripper and unlike most books about Sutcliffe, it focuses on the victim's and not him.
The attitude of some of the police officers is shocking and some didn't seem to see what the problem was.
After all they were "Just prostitutes"
Jayne McDonald who was only 16 and the first victim who wasn't a prostitute , is referred to as the first innocent victim by some officers.
Judging by the comments about women after the murder of Sarah Everard last year, not much has changed.

I haven't read the book, I will look out for it.
I agree, that in a lot of cases, police and social workers seem to grade girls as 'innocent'. or 'asking for it'.
I have heard women who have been brave enough to report rapes and sexual abuse, been treated like a sex criminal herself if (and it often doesn't) the case ever reaches a courtroom.

It's very good Digs.
It covers all his victims, from the one's who were murdered to the one's who survived.

One woman is described as having 'loose morals ' just because she went to the pub once a week for a couple of drinks.
Probably give them ten years hard labour, he's deranged enough.

That's another very interesting book.
It covers the life stories of all five women murdered by 'Jack the Ripper' plus it gives an interesting insight into life in Victorian Times.
Former Rangers player Alexei Mikhailichenko and his son have signed up to help defend Ukraine.
Big Alexei's grandson is the lad wearing the scarf and is only 17.
They want to send him away to safety but he wants to stay with them and help.
Kharkiv Train station.
Thousands upon thousands of people trying to get out of Ukraine.
A Ukrainian woman and her cat.
Fuck you Putin!!
You would think the Scottish parliament would have better things to do with their time.
Ridiculous woman, ridiculous party.
You should hear the language my mother uses when she's talking about Sturgeon.
It would make a docker blush.
😮
Talking of the SNP...
If a man rapes a woman and then self id's as a woman he will have his crime recorded as a female.
Thats right!!
A woman can be raped and the crime will be shown as being commited by a woman if the rapists starts wearing a dress.
J.K. Rowling slams cops for letting rape suspects ID as women (nypost.com)
