This virus is so odd, some people don't even know they have it, some are ill for a few days, for some it floors them for weeks, and it can often leave severe after effects....worse case scenario it kills people, total now is getting on for 4 million globally.

It will be at least triple that.
So many governments are covering up the true figures - India alone probably has had at least 2 million deaths by now.

It's hard to calculate the true figures because obviously some countries have lied through their teeth.
For those who have insisted that Covid is less or little more than influenza.....The World Health Organisation estimates that between 290,000 and 650,000 people die worldwide every year from influenza-related causes.
Proving the numbers are not really comparable to the true numbers of Covid deaths.

Thank God for our vaccination program, one of the best in the world otherwise the death toll would be appalling as COVID numbers here are rising faster than anywhere on the planet.
On a side note I am sick of seeing bloody teenagers in clubs on the news today - talk about posing for the cameras and yes I know I am a miserable old bastard!

Kids will be kids, but the crowds at Wimbledon, Wembley and the grand prix were not kids...and I didn't see much social distancing there.
I went shopping today, happy to see the majority of people in Sainsbury's still wearing masks and keeping their distance.

The repulsive Katie Hopkins being a prime example - good on Australia for booted her out of the country.

Quite alarming to hear UK chief scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance saying on yesterdays Downing street update that 60% of people admitted to hospital with Covid was double vaccinated.
He since retracted that comment.
It's almost impossible to work out the actual numbers, there is so much disparity in the figures given by various sources.

A study suggests the real Indian death toll could be over four million - at least we are honest unlike so many other countries.
I believe our government is more honest than most, I do wonder whether they dont divulge all the possible drawbacks in this pandemic for fear of panicking the population.
And now empty supermarket shelves are being reported...apparently many workers are unable to work because they have been in contact with an infected person, so some idiots are starting to panic buy again before there are food shortages, which they are causing.
