The Scottish Blood Transfusion Service is looking for new donors.
Obviously I'll always be indebted to them because they saved my life so I thought i would volunteer.
However because I've had a blood transfusion, I'm not allowed to be a donor.
So if blood transfusions are so safe, why are you ineligible once you have one?
🤔
Hmm that makes you think. Are they worried there's something wrong with the blood!

That's what I'm worried about Mags and I got five pints of it.
So that's 5 times the chances of catching something.

One of the Prime Suspects in the murder of 'The Three Scottish Soldier's" died last week.
That means all the suspects are dead and nobody will ever be brought to justice for the murder of brothers John and Joseph McCaig and Dougald McCaughey.
The McCaig brother's were only 17 and 18 and the murders led to a change in the law.
John's death forced an immediate change in policy that the minimum age in operations would be 18.
Many people regard the boys murders as one of the worst of "The Troubles"
There's two memorials to the boys in Northern Ireland (which keep being defaced more than any other) one where they were murdered and one in Belfast city centre.
Most of the suspects ran over the border to the south who wouldn't extradite them because they said the boys murders were political NOT CRIMINAL.

That's true witchcraft.
She looks.Like a witch
Who incidentally, seemed very nice when she appeared with her OH on some TV programme...I'm sure she is a far nicer person than Nicola Sturgeon.
Sturgeon's mother looks like Elton John..
😂
Rangers continue to be marvellous and made the last eight last night in the Europa League.
(Our detractors are very quiet about this)
Anyway thanks to how great Rangers are, our Coefficient is improving and we shouldn't have to play 10,000 qualifiers next season.
Look what I got in my inbox, I don't remember telling them I was a Muslim. 🤔
Must be playing silly buggers, Mags.
Today is the anniversary of Davie Cooper's death.
Coops was one of the greatest players Scotland ever produced, someone once said he was a Brazilian in a Scotsman body.
Coops was just 39 years old and taking part in a training session for youngsters when he collapsed from a brain haemorrhage and died the next day.
His death was one of the few occasions that united Rangers and Celtic such was the respect he commanded.
Coops death was a tragedy and another example of how you should live each day like it was your last because someday it will be, so make today count.
