This is the time of year we usually go Vam, maybe my crocked knee was a blessing in disguise.
People don't heed warnings though, the sea can be dangerous without storms stirring it up...RIP the ones who have died there.
We are off (for that long awaited holiday to Lanzarote) in April...and instead of the Canaries we have booked a stay at a hotel in a castle in Wales for next month.

The rain in Spain...tra laaa.
I know when we have been in parts of Spain, it's lashed it down, and an hour later not even a small puddle remains. I do envy you your weather though Vam...if I am reincarnated, I hope I come back somewhere hot'

My feet are freezing, so in the house I wear huge thick cabin socks. Unfortunately, I can't get my slippers on they are so thick. So....I went to the market and instead of getting my normal size in slippers 7/8....I asked the woman for a size 10 in a gents wide fitting slipper. She asked what colour my husband would like...I said, they are for me.
They are Soooo comfy, even though I do feel like a clown.

High of 4C here today...I am sat here in my clown slippers and a cashmere jumper wrapped round my neck, plus a T shirt, thick cardie, legging and my trusty cabin socks...see below. No Mags, No snow yet, very frosty in the mornings though. OH has taken my olive tree and palms inside...moaning all the time that they are so heavy they are giving him yet another hernia. (he hasn't ever had one, but I'm sure he will talk himself into one someday)

They are not bloody old leggings, they are fleece lined, indoors leggings, if you don't mind.
