Imagine the joy in your husband's face if you prepared a Chinese style, caviar stuffed fish for his dinner..😉

I had cheese and onion omelette, I love those.
I like chicken fajita omelets.
I feel like I could be eating mom and her unborn chicks at the same time..🐣
You can be very weird at times.
At times? 😉
I was eating a chicken omelet and that odd thought popped into me head. I can't think of another instance where we consume the embryo and adult version of the same species. Can you?
Unless there is a meal where we stuff caviar in a fish..🤷
Thankfully...No.

Well, that probably was the longest ‘breakfast’ I’ve ever had! 😂 Met up with some friends for a late breakfast at one of the few beachside places still open, before the weather turns.
Got there at around 11am. Got home half an hour ago. But the eggs Benedict were so good!

We did, Syl, as always 🤣
I was designated driver for a couple of them (cos I can’t drink much more than a glass of wine, ever). Poured them into my car, and spilled them out into their driveways.

Sounds like you have a good set of friends there, Vam.
I have found that the older I get I really appreciate friends and family more than ever....meals out with them are the best. x

So true, Syl They’re a great bunch, and 3 of them are the closest thing to family I have out here.

Lovely to have close friends. I have a few, I wouldn't be without.
You can choose your friends not your family, so true.

Sounds lovely Mags. Have you started Christmas shopping yet? May start a seasonal thread, so answer me in there.

Good for you, it takes the stress out of Christmas to be organised.
For tea....another easy one, not the healthiest but dead tasty.
Two sausage and fried onion balm cakes...white balm cakes with grease from the fried onions...

Barm cakes / Cullen skink …. Google has been my friend this evening I love learning new English words!
Over here, a barm cake is called a ‘mollete’, and Cullen skink is ‘Sopa de Cullen’ or ’Caldo de Cullen’.

Cullen skink is absolutely delicious. It's hearty, tasty, nourishing, and utterly comfort food.

Ooh lovely. It's a very British thing to go out for a carvery lunch or dinner, pretty reasonable prices too in most places.
