A Cher gig? Heard that on the TV/Radio?
I take it you immediately left the building? Or turned off your TV or Radio in disgust?

Just how fucking stupid do you have to be to gargle or swallow bleach?
Apparently almost one in 20 (4%) of Americans are.
Germaphobes, see a couple on DS who said they washed their shopping in a bleach solution one said they leave parcels outside for a few days before washing them and bringing them in
Gargling bleach /rinsing with it seems to be a thing and even some dentists recommend it.
Several times including the title of the article Digs.
Way too many Americans have gargled with bleach, sprayed their bodies with disinfectants to prevent COVID-19
'19% said they had used bleach to wash food items such as fruits and vegetables,'
'and 4% reported drinking or gargling diluted bleach solutions.'
“I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute,” Trump said. “One minute! And is there a way we can do something, by an injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that. So, that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me.”
Where is the word, 'bleach'?
Bleach as in Domestos? Or the 'bleach' used in making our bread white? Or bleach used to sterilise chicken meat? Or the bleach we use to whiten our sugar?
Potassium Bromate is an additive used in flour which strengthens the dough and allows it to rise higher. ... In 1999, the International Agency on Research for Cancer declared that Potassium Bromate was a possible human carcinogen, which means that it possibly causes cancer.
Azodicarbonamide is banned in Singapore, Australia, the UK, and most European countries. If American food producers exercised a little more patience and just waited one week for wheat to whiten naturally on its own instead of adding this to fast-track flour’s bleaching process, they might be poisoning less of their people.
So we put all this shit in our bodies every day....where's the outrage about that?

I thought you were referring to the article not the orange gimp who continues to amaze me with his crass arrogance and stupidity.
Anyway given the scenes throughout the country today all the effort people have put in to prevent the second wave have been a fucking waste of time, it makes me sick.
I saw one woke woman saying that the issue of racism in the UK was far more important than COVID-19.
Tell that to the people still dying in huge numbers gasping for their last breath all alone.
When the numbers start to rise again we all know who to blame.
I think we are one of the most tolerant societies in the world - too tolerant sometimes given (for example) the endless Pakistani/Bangladeshi grooming gang scandals that were allowed to operate for decades because of mortal fear of that magical word 'racism' from the authorities.

Perhaps Trumperooni can lead by example, and swallow all this stuff himself.
Yep, the world has gone mad.
Leigh Frances, aka Keith Lemon, weeping on video about how sorry he was to be impersonating black artists just about capped it all. He doesn't apologise for all the filthy sexist jokes he's come out with over the years regarding women.

I expect there will will be soon be demands to dig up Stan and Ollie's skeletons and put them on trial in front of a baying woke mob for daring to make jokes/stereotypes about mentally challenged and obese people almost a century ago.

It's all a bit 'Salem Witch Trials'. A kind of mass social media induced hysteria. Wouldn't it be ironic if COVID bit them all in the arse...what with its propensity to be particularly virulent with BAME folks?

I have made this point several times today and who will they blame when their elderly/vulnerable relatives are struck down with COVID?
Will they accuse the virus of being racist?
As for for the vast numbers of virtue signalling wokes joining in the mayhem all over the planet words fail me - total worldwide deaths passed 400,000 today perhaps they want to break the one million mark as soon as possible?
Our authorities are totally gutless on this issue, can you imagine what would have happened if such mass defiance of the Lockdown rules has been about any other topic?
So many people have died all alone without their loved ones even allowed to hold their hands and relatives who have also not been able to go to their funerals - and all for nothing.
Look at the outrage was in the press about that twat Cummings and now hear the deafening silence by those same people afraid to criticise such selfish behaviour for fear of being labelled as 'nasty wasists'.
It really pisses me off.

Some better news maybe. Or is it. LOL Crazy arse times.
I've been reading some Scientists claiming the way the R rate is deduced right now isn't too accurate. Some scientists say that too much shouldn't be read into the R rate.
In my view the real thing to watch is Hospital admissions and daily new cases positive test numbers. Over the next 2 weeks. These things are obviously very real and accurate. They are still on the right path right now. Time will tell.

Hmmm, we have had the R rate and how it works drummed in us for months.
Obviously though how many new infections are recorded connect to the R rate, and as both the infection rate and the deaths are reducing now, hopefully it'll continue to drop.

The way the R rate is currently mostly deduced is the problem some experts have. And why they say too much shouldn't be read into what the figures are.
"R is calculated using mathematical modelling - and the models used have repeatedly been found to reach untenable and frankly wrong-headed conclusions.
“In the case of R, I can tell you that this is not a strong enough number to bear the burden of any Government policy, let alone a policy with the magnitude of lockdown.
“In fact, the epidemiological models that generate R are probably less reliable than long-range weather forecasts.”
He pointed out that Meteorologists who predict the weather study things such as pressure, temperature, wind speed, and humidity, to try to predict how it will be.
Something I just found again easily. The above is a small excerpt of what one scientist has said over recent days. I could post links but can't be bothered to look them up now. The R rate info I posted a bit ago, was referring to things I read earlier on this evening.
