England's coming home. The English team provided some great moments. Some brilliant last minute goals to equalize or win and the penalty taking was 100%. Not quite good enough. Not quite fit enough either. It seems many of the pundits and many of the social media plastic fans demanded more.

Kane was unfit tbh, but he was running up and down the pitch. Should've brought the younger players on from the start and Kane later in the second half.
Southgate has resigned today. Damn shame. He got England to where they are. Just couldn't get over the line, but that's the players fault, not his.
Bloody Lineker called for his resignation. What the hell has he done apart from Walkers crisp ads! Paid a fortune to run others down. Hate him.
Southgate got them to two finals which is more than any of his predecessors did.

The FA tried to get Alex Ferguson at one time but he said no because he's Scottish.
It's a thankless task being England manager.
Our manager is doing okay at the moment, gawd knows how he's managed it!!
Thing is, had we won, Southgate would have been the best manager since Alf Ramsey. Probably knighted. We are awful losers. Always complaining. It's a thankless job to have tbh.
