A muscle-building obsession that can pose physical and mental health risks, including stroke, heart palpitations, high blood pressure, liver injury, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
Rhabdomyolysis
A rare but potentially fatal condition that can occur when you overexert yourself during exercise. Rhabdomyolysis causes muscle cells to break down, releasing a protein called myoglobin into the bloodstream. If your kidneys can't remove the myoglobin fast enough, it can lead to kidney failure, toxicity in the body, or even death.

Yeah, that stuff happens when people engage in extreme training.
That's not going to happen with a hard workout in the gym..

Meanwhile, back to food..
My Mediterranean lunch. Chicken shwarma, spinach and cabbage salad, zucchini and chicken peas with eggplant..
Looks nice, I slummed it and went for a really unhealthy option.
Went with grandson and had the biggest slice of peperoni pizza in an Asda cafe....have to say it was delicious.

I'm not a zealot. I'll slam some pizza when I'm around kids and grandkids..
I even ate a cupcake last weekend. 😉

The pic of you and the lady Maddog is really nice. Just one thing cheapens it and that’s you holding a drink in the shot. I note that she is not. You don’t appear particularly comfortable and it all smacks of you needing that drink as part of your identity even in a photos. It’s easy to get to that point but the camera never lies xxx

Actually a winery. She had set her glass of wine down, or had just finished it.
At the same winery that day. People are going to drink and cut loose at this particular one.
Some folks call it having fun. 😉
I don't think many women can say they haven't climbed on a high chair or a table to have a dance, I know I have....sometimes you just have to go where the music takes you.

Not too much though, one needs to keep good balance when negotiating climbing on tables and not spilling the drink.

You would love the wine tour of Fredericksburg. It's a huge destination for women to get shuttled to a dozen wineries outside of town, then you come back to town for an evening of dining and shopping in a town settled by Germans 180 years ago.
And it's in the Texas Hill country so it has terrain like say Wales

It sounds great. The wine tasting tours I have been on, here and in Spain, concentrate on the one vineyard ...which is great, cos you get delicious wines, cheeses, and sometimes afternoon teas thrown in. It would be a nice experience to be driven to different vineyards though...and the shopping sounds good too, (if you can still see straight)

The trick is making it a 3 day weekend. One day only for the wineries.

"She said that lentils were the 'champion' of fibre content, with 17g per 100g serving. Brits are urged to eat 30g of fibre a day, but evidence suggests as little as 9 per cent of the UK population manage this. The average Brit eats about 20g a day - falling short of the 30g target by one third.
The NHS says there is a strong link between those who eat enough fibre and a lower risk of serious illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and bowel cancer Choosing foods with fibre also makes us feel fuller, while a diet rich in fibre can help digestion and prevent constipation."
In case you're wondering what sarcopenia is..
A couple of other things to watch out for -
