The "Hand of God" football shirt worn by Maradona is expected to be sold for more than FIVE MILLION POUNDS today at auction.
The shirt is currently owned by former England midfielder Steve Hodge.
Babe Ruth's Baseball shirt sold for 4.4 million in 2019.
I detested that man. I wouldn't pay a penny for his sweaty, stinking shirt.

He ended up awfy debauched, drugs and what not. Seems he was talented but had no sense. It happens a lot. Gazza was another one and then there was Jim Baxter. Jim Baxter or "Slim Jim" it's probably not as well known as the other two but he was a class act. Despite being one of Rangers greatest ever players, he makes me angry. He had TWO liver transplants and wasted them both.

Syl has just mentioned George Best, another very talented player but died young. Maradona was 60, George Best 59 and Jim Baxter 61.
Aye nice words there Mags, 20 died when that ship was hit. Twenty years next month till the 40th anniversary of the Sir Galahad being bombed. 48 died then and of course that's when Simon Weston was so badly injured.
Yes a terrible time V. Brave them all and Simon Weston went through lots of operation and skin grafts too.

I can remember him saying her heard his mum saying "Look at that poor boy" when the injured arrived back in the UK. He said "Hi mam" he was so badly burned, she didn't recognize him.

Took Daisy to the voting yesterday. As we went through the park, I saw a woman with a dog and a cat was trailing behind them. I thought this won't end well but I caught up with the woman and she told me she owned both of them and when she walks the dog the cat has to go too!!😂

That's heartbreaking.
He is a true hero, before, during, and especially after that conflict.

He is and he's even friends with the man who bombed the ship, said he was only doing his job.

It takes a big man to act like that.
He is right though, soldiers are often kids, scared stiff, just following orders.

How greedy are some people!!
Rangers are off to Seville for the Europa League Cup Final later this month and some prices there for accommodation have been bumped up by more than 8000%
An apartment that cost £51 is now £4,935
Greedy bastards!!
I might have to stay with Vam, I'm sure she won't mind!! 😎

The families of some of those who were killed weren't pleased but Simon Weston said he can't live with bitterness. He's happily married now, three children, and has a wee Grandson. He seems an awful nice man.

You’d be welcome but - hate to break it to you - Seville is around a couple of hours’ drive north of me.
So how am I supposed to get you up there & back when I’m also trying to dog sit that pint-size furry wrecking ball of yours, & bribing her to get her to behave herself??!
