It just cost me over £17 to send back 6 garden chair seat pads...they were too big. Not sure how they measured them...they should have fit just right, but they overhung the chairs by 2''.
How come the nicest stuff is always online and not in the shops anymore?
That's why I buy most stuff on Amazon, it's free to return them.

That's a bummer. I have prime because I do buy a lot from Amazon and I get the TV package and all the free books that I read on my kindle, plus free postage.

I just got an email from them that the package has been delivered...I used Ebay not Amazon....got mixed up.
The same items were sold on Amazon too....not sure if everything is free to return on there, it was a big bulky item.
I have never returned anything before, so tbh I dont know if everything is free returns or not.... will check in future.
£17.25 to be exact, is what I paid.

Sad. Yes eBay maybe, but big items still free on Amazon. Read the returns and be sure.

if the goods are not fit for purpose then the sellers are supposed to send you a return label with postage paid. or refund you it in with your goods refund

Understandably.
In my case the goods were fit for purpose, I think I measured them wrong...not the sellers fault.
I am hoping for a full refund though.

Ahh, right though you had meant the seller had sized them wrong. Shame. I do hate paying for returns I'm a tight wad 🤭

This has irritated me my whole adult life.
If I want diesel petrol etc someone has to drill beneath the ocean floor go and drill in the dessert pump through miles of pipelines transport it by road and sea kill people and so on.
If I want beer which is basically vegetable water its four times the price!
