Yep, walkers are only temporary.
When I had my knee replaced in June, they gave me a walker an hour after the op to walk with, 10 minutes later they took it away and gave me crutches....the hospital definately discouraged walkers.

Yes he hates it tbh. When I suggested the stick he jumped at it. Why they didn't give him crutches beats me.

If he's a fall risk, they aren't going to let him risk breaking that hip they just screwed together.

I just looked out, the tree is still lit till 12th night, and the snow is about an inch deep now, it looks so beautiful...just like a Christmas card, albeit a few days late.
It's gone a bit warmer too.

It's stopped snowing but it's frozen, so it looks lovely.
OH is up the huge tree at the front taking all the lights down, I usually help by holding the ladder, but it's too cold. I concentrated on the indoor tree.
