If that's the extent of these surgeries, then I don't think anyone has a problem with that.

My daughter rescued a Carpathian from Romania before xmas. He was a puppy stuck in the street. He's still puppy but oh so loved. He's staying with me later as my daughter is going on holiday. They vaccinated him and brought him over to my daughter's house. Cost £400. He's got a great life now.
