I would have had a smooth ride. The storm missed us, no snow, not much wind, just a bit of rain.
If I drove for 10 minutes I would be in the hills, and they are snow covered, some areas nearby really did get hit, and the roads out and in are shut.

We had rain all night barely any wind at all.

OH suggested the other day that if it snowed enough, we still have a sledge in the garage and we could go sledging....I think he thinks we are still teenagers.

It's such fun. I remember going sledging 5 days after I had a hysterectomy, people thought I was mad, I think it was therapy.

I know, in retrospect, I wouldn't advise others to do it...it was a bit daft, but very enjoyable.
The snow has all gone now, back to rain, but at least it's a bit warmer.
