He'd been at a £100 a head dinner a few weeks earlier to mark his football teams 100th Anniversary of winning the Scottish Cup.
Sir Alex Ferguson was to be the guest speaker but was ill and couldn't make it.
I was hoping for an autograph.
😥

Aww, that's a shame.
My OH used to take him home sometimes from Old Trafford. He said he would introduce his wife to him, and he always treated everyone with respect.
Just a very nice man.

Slugs!
Google it for yourselves and you'll find that British slugs could be under threat of extinction!
It's not true what's happening is the slugs have all moved to my place!
When I kept chickens at home no slugs.
I haven't kept chickens at home for about three years now and word's gone round the slug world and more arrive every night!
Every night we go out and salt their rubber dinghies but still they come!
Might have to go back to having a couple here again... kinda border control duties.

Today was prom night for my niece and her school but it was rained off and they all had to go running.
She doesn’t even have her corsage - oh gee. It fell down the sewer with her sister’s ID.

I've always liked him, what with him being a former Rangers player.
He got a hard time back then because his wife was a Catholic.
He was forced out.

35 years in July since Rangers signed their first Catholic.
It dominated the news, some were pleased and some were outraged.

Scarves and season tickets were burnt.
So I was taking Shorty out for a walk yesterday and when I opened the door, some clatty, disgusting bastard had been sick on my steps.
It's not the folk who live there, it's the louts who visit.
I can't imagine what sort of people would do such a thing.
Disgusting, vile person!
Dirty get...leaving it for you to clean up.
Some pig had hung a bag of dog muck on one of my plants in the front garden a couple of weeks ago.
People like that have no respect for others, sadly there seems to be a lot of them around nowadays.
At least they bagged it for you. 😉
A thoughtful dirty bastard is still a dirty bastard
And if I had seen them they would have been wearing it.
I hate dog owners like that, they give responsible one's like me a bad name.
I quite often have a bag of poop on our walks until I reach a poop bin.
It's not pleasant but it's got to be done.
I catch him doing it again and I'll pull him over the wall and use his face to clean it.
