I like them. I've owned pets that I was attached to, but I've never confused them for being human.
I also understand them and treat them accordingly.
You don't just ask a 600 pound calf to kindly disperse. Finding a vet that's open that come chase it around with needle isn't practical.
If you do pin it down long enough (good fucking luck) to give it an injection you better keep holding it down so it doesn't go apeshit.
Knock it out, and then what? Throw it in the police car and take it to jail?
You handle a calf the way another cow would. Head down and push it.

Me too.
I have loved having them and been quite attached but I don't consider myself to have loved them.
No I have never been their daddy or mummy.
No I have never been cruel or unkind to them.

There's a problem with Ibrox and it won't be ready in time for the new season starting.
There is only three other 50,000 + stadiums in Scotland that could be used and...
Parkhead..not a chance in hell
Hampden...Queens Park use it
So it's off to Edinburgh and Murrayfield!!

I was talking to a distant relative of mine, my Great-Granny and his Great-Granny were sisters.
Anyway he's a nice man and has adopted a wee Jack Russell after her owner died from Covid.
A rescue dog, when she was a pup her first owners beat her and broke her legs.
Subhuman scum, I hope karma visits them.
Shorty was very taken with her.
😍

Re that calf that the horrible cops rammed.
It was a bloody calf not a raging bull...the farmer could have been called out to get it home safely.
Years ago, we came home to find a couple of full grown cows in our back garden...the farmer was a bit remiss in fixing his fence.
We called him, he collected them, no need to hurt the animals. The only casualties were a few trodden plants and a nibbled Christmas tree that they seemed partial to.

The calf wasn't rammed. It was pushed. It's going to be fine. Until it's eaten anyway..
And did these cows have some ID on them to call the proper owner?

Why do you keep banging on about it being pushed, it was rammed, sending it down the road, a second car then hit it. To
To you It's just meat on your plate, horrible.

All cows in the UK have to carry ID.
It's an ear tag so the cow can be traced from birth to plate.

Well, I learned something new..
Would a cop or the typical person who comes across a cow be able to determine its owner and their phone number from this tag??

No Maddog, there is only one farmer round here that keeps cows.
I thought it was a good bet to call him rather than the sheep farmer down the lane.

I'm trying to get Shorty a new jumper.
As you know, Shorty is a Westie not very big and about 22lbs.
Size wise though (in China) she is 3x extra large.
Mother was watching the aforementioned Shorty a few days ago because I've been ill and the wee toad wouldn't stop barking, mother always 'asks Google, never type's
Anyway she asked something and then in frustration shouted 'you don't stop barking, I'll murder you'
Google then started asking about her violent thoughts , how long they've been going on and if she's getting help.
I like them. I've owned pets that I was attached to, but I've never confused them for being human.
