Tulsi Gabbard: "Iran is not building nuclear weapons"
Trump: "Don't listen to her, she's wrong"
a day later...
Tulsi Gabbard "Iran could have nuclear weapons within weeks"
They change their minds faster than they change their socks!
Ah yes, of course, the soulless American bint who was/is the Syrian Assad regime’s chief apologist is now walking back her sworn testimony at her confirmation hearing a just few months ago.
Most of these grifting pieces of shite are absolutely terrified of losing their position/status/relevance. After all, outside of a trump administration, who TF else would want to work with them?

All members of the cabinet of any administration fall in line. They don't have a choice if they want a job..
Then they write a book like Karine Jean Pierre and spill the dirt on their boss..

You don't think Tulsi could make a shit ton of money somewhere else?
Granted she'd lose power and influence..

I think Tulsi still wants to be president. Nothing would make her happier than to do it while Hillary and Kamala were still alive to see it.
Now, I don't think she has much of a chance. I guess if she gets fired soon, which is likely, she could write her book and be rehabilitated by 2028..🤷

She’s allegedly been making a shit ton of money for years as Putin‘s mouthpiece, if nothing else. The grift with that bint (& others) is so baked-in.
But no, it’s probably as much about power and influence, as you say. Plus, the status of calling herself a Cabinet Secretary. Same with the MAGATs in the Senate. The title of ‘Senator’ and all its perks - no way do most of them ever want to lose that! So they do whatever it takes to cling on.

Good morning, campers Now that Jack seems to be back with us, this might be a good time to get some advice on end-of-days prepper supplies.
Social media’s on fire this morning, but these 2 simple posts on X pretty much sum it up, imo
‘I cannot believe that a reality tv show host and a Fox News weekend anchor just started World War III’
’Much as I would not dare to predict the consequences of this war, I do think we can summarize it thusly so far: A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.’

Now Iran is in contact with Putin I am rather worried. I must admit I got so bored about Trump's lies about the economy and the Elon Musk farce I stopped watching so intently. Surely American citizens aren't happy Trump has effectively taken the country to war with iran? Will Putin and Iran now join forces? Sorry to go off topic but I fear people will forget about the dying in Gaza (mostly children) who desperately need more aid and medics. I saw the coverage of a makeshift hospital and seeing those brave beautiful children with terrible burns made me so angry. Does anyone more in the know think Trump bombing Iran was necessary? I have yet to see what Trump said at 3am our time but whatever was said I don't know what this means for the near future. I doubt its anything good.

I'm hoping this will be like 2020 - lots of sabre rattling but not much happens militarily. I guess everyone knows my opinion of what we should do if there is a broader conflict. It's bad enough that some of our pensioners may freeze in the winter due to a sharp increase in energy prices, let alone rising prices due to inflation and adding to our mountain of debt.
If everything goes spectacularly wrong in the future and there is even a whiff of conscription we have extended family in NZ so I will send my wife and kids there. I'm not letting my kids go off to die in some stupid war.

Starmer : “ The prime minister said he wanted to "reassure the British public that we're doing everything we can to stabilise the situation" and find a diplomatic solution after the US bombed three sites.”

Let's not forget that Putin joined forces with Assad in Syria.
How'd that work out?
I have no idea how this all goes, but Iran aligned with Russia isn't a big threat unless Russia gives them nukes..
Iran's only real power is terrorism and proxys. Hezbollah is gone and Hamas is barely there..The Houthis are basically just a menace.
Of course their ranks and.power might swell with this latest escalation..

Despite the fools in charge, the real heroes here are the members of American armed forces who carried out the mission with expertise, faultless precision and professionalism.
Of course, the Orange Man has been claiming Iran’s nuclear facilities have now been “completely and totally obliterated”. Whereas, experts and analysts say it’s far too soon to assess whether that‘s actually the case. In anticipation of an imminent attack, there‘s the likelihood that the Iranians could have simply loaded up some trucks and moved everything to safer locations well in advance.
All of this could well have been for no substantive progress. And it’s certainly put American bases in the region at risk if Iran carries out its promised retaliation.
Not to mention blowing through a reported $7.2Billion to carry out this attack.

With Iran now targeting Qatar, let's hope Trump keeps cool and holds back from retaliation - this shouldn't be a reason to go in with all guns blazing. Unless of course all he now wants is the slightest excuse to launch an attack to get rid of the current regime.

Ceasefire? What ceasefire?

I'm completely lost with what is going on in the Iran / Israel conflict.
It looks like Trump brokered a ceasefire yesterday and Iran bombed Israel right until the last minute before the ceasefire was due to take effect. It seems Israel didn't like that and may now bomb Iran again, even though the ceasefire is supposed to be in place. Trump doesn't like that and has told Israel to step down.
My instincts are Trump is trying his level best to get a deal. He's a real estate man at heart, not a warmongering neo-con. Fair play to the guy as a diplomatic solution is better than WW3.

He’s absolutely fuming that Israel & Iran didn’t show him enough respect to *immediately* cave in to his demands He detests being shown up for the clueless clown he really is.
Governor Gavin Newsom on X: “This is what Donald Trump does.
He creates a problem — and then he tries to be a hero in his own Marvel movie.
I would call it pathetic if it wasn’t so dangerous.”
Also, because he still refuses to evict Obama from inside his head, he’s absolutely gagging to score a Nobel Peace Prize. He’s been coveting that since his first term as POTUS.

Just to highlight what a venal POS he is, he was yelling that the B2 bomber pilots are owed an ‘apology’, because of media reporting that no one (yet) knows for sure whether Iran’s nuclear facilities have been ‘completely and totally obliterated’, as he announced they were.
No, the pilots are NOT owed any apology! On the contrary, Americans and people the whole world over have been lavishing praise on how expertly and flawlessly those pilots, and all the armed services involved, executed the strikes on those targets. They’re the real heroes here.
The problem was, and still is, General Bone Spurs couldn’t stop himself from running his mouth - well in advance of the attack - by publicly tweeting and doing pressers about it
As a result, the Iranians could predict what was coming and there‘s now compelling evidence that they simply loaded up some trucks and moved their uranium and centrifuges to other locations.
