I was reading about a woman who's brother has kidney failure and she refuses to give him one of her kidneys.
Apparently it's caused by a hereditary disease and knowing she has the faulty gene and could pass it on to any children she has, she's keeping them.
He said she's a selfish bitch and has condemned him to death, she has told him to get lost.
It's caused a major family fallout.
Do you think she's being selfish?
🤔

No, I think her brother is being selfish.
As a mother, I too would put my childrens health before a sibling.

If she's not having any children, what's her problem? I would definitely give a kidney to my brother.

She hasn't got any kids, so I don't get what her problem is.

I would give my brother a kidney, or anyone I love if there is a match.

My mum had kidney cancer six years ago and she had to have a kidney removed so if her remaining kidney was to fail, I would get tested straight away.
Apparently because I had a massive blood transfusion that could be a problem but it would be treated on risk assessment.

She hasn't got any kids, so I don't get what her problem is.
It would depend on how old she is, and what are her plans for the future, surely.
There are always two sides to a story.

if it could be hereditary then she might get the same problem. She might have children at a later date?
We have no idea what her and her brother's relationship is like. I would give it to some of my siblings in a heartbeat but others I would think long and hard about it and probably decline. I don't know 100%.
For her brother to go screaming to the papers I would say he was like those half siblings have who expect the world but give you nothing not even their time until they want something

It's a miracle nobody was killed on Saturday night at Hampden at the Calvin Harris concert.
It's thought it was caused by folk jumping over barriers from the seating section to the standing section.
The silent majority are getting mightily weary of it all
What do you think the majority of Scots think of her? Do you think if a referendum is held, Scotland will vote for independence?
Most Scots I know can't stand her but then most of my associate's are Unionists.
I think it would be a resounding no if another referendum was held.
Highest drug deaths in Europe, transport is failing, the NHS are failing, the police are failing and so is education.
Independence would be disastrous for Scotland.
Sick to the back teeth of it Digs.
Andy Goram died yesterday.
Like I said earlier in the thread, he thought he just had bad indigestion and it turned out he had terminal cancer.
He was given six months and I mentioned last month he had taken a turn for the worse and was given four weeks.
He didn't even get that.
The Goalie playing for Scotland's cricket team.
He was born and bred in Manchester but his dad was Scottish that's how he was eligible to play for Scotland.
