I've lost more than a stone in weight since this illness.
That's not good, the heavier you are, the harder you are to kidnap.

As you know, Shorty is a Westie not very big and about 22lbs.
Size wise though (in China) she is 3x extra large.
Mother was watching the aforementioned Shorty a few days ago because I've been ill and the wee toad wouldn't stop barking, mother always 'asks Google, never type's
Anyway she asked something and then in frustration shouted 'you don't stop barking, I'll murder you'
Google then started asking about her violent thoughts , how long they've been going on and if she's getting help.
😂
The female robot who speaks for google....ask her to translate a Fench word or saying and she adopts a sexy French accent

Google can't understand a word I say Syl.
My accent is a lot stronger than my mum's, we come from different towns.
I gave up using it years ago.

Talking of accents...
A woman told my brother when she phoned his work she didn't want to speak to a Scottish person because she can't understand a word we say.
So he said hold on and passed her to his Geordie pal who put his accent on extra thick after my brother told him what she said.
She hung up!!
.😂

Some accents are stronger than others. I went to Scotland and had no problem understanding, yet sometimes Scottish accents are really hard for me to understand. Maybe different areas?

I might have said before, when I was young my best mate was from Glasgow.
I could understand her, but no one else could. People used to ask me to translate for her.

My mum's accent isn't so strong because my Granda was in the RAF and she was all over the UK when she was a child.
Mine and my dad's are the worst, my brother went posh when he went to University.
Liverpool is the only accent I struggle with.

Liverpool accents can be strong, but the worst accent of all, imo, is the droning Birmingham accent, it's awful.

So I added a boxset of Laurel and Hardy to my Amazon basket and then went off to do a few chores and it's gone up £15:00
I'll wait.
I watched a film of the great two yesterday..
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
Not Laurel and Hardy, the double act hadn't started yet.
Ollie had a bit part, it was mostly Stan and the wee Scottish guy Jimmy Finlayson.

My husband likes those two. I can take them or leave them. I find Charlie Chaplin funnier.

I have just got a 2nd parking ticket within 3 weeks of each other.
Previously went 30 odd years without getting a single one.
Bleeding council in my area are crafty, grabbing bastards.

I love Stan and Ollie, I like Charlie Chaplin as well though.
Bette Davis, I've got most of her films.
The best actress ever in my opinion.
"Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" watch that Digs if you haven't seen it .
Brilliant.
