Because things are so bad in the country that it’s impossible to not be affected by it emotionally, unless you are actively evil, are not paying attention, or—that’s it, really. There’s no way to look at what’s happened to the country in the last five and a half months and not feel this way.’
Trump said he would drain the swamp. Turns out Trump is the swamp. It's hard not to feel some level of disgust at the stunning hypocrisy.
Still, there can be no clearer indication that politics doesn't serve the majority. It serves the wealthy and special interest groups. So much for no taxation without representation,
I predicted that from the moment he came down that naff gilded escalator to announce his first run for the presidency.
The decimation of Medicaid will start rolling out from the end of December 2026, which is after the midterms of course 🙄
The ‘no tax on tips’ gimmick has an expiry date of just a couple of years, and there’s all kinds of bureaucratic loopholes and caveats to wade through to be eligible for that.
The ‘no tax on social security’ is a straight-up lie they continue to spew. It‘s a completely fictitious soundbite that folks are saying is nowhere to be found in the Bill.
Whereas, the extension of His Royal Highness’ 2017 gazillionaires’ tax breaks will kick in as soon as the ink is dry when he signs the Bill into law later today, and those tax breaks have no expiry date.
More than one third of the national debt is solely down to the 4.5 years he has been president.

Those 2017 tax breaks were across the board..
The reason people like to say they are tax breaks for the rich is because a 2% cut on 10 million is a whole lot more than 2% on 60 thousand.
Obviously they could have reworked it where the tax cuts for the non rich were the only ones extended..But these tax cuts as extended help everyone on their tax bill..

I wonder what Trump thinks about this.
Musk launches a new political party to 'Give the Americans their freedom back'.
Ah, okay - so business as usual, then. Imagine the relief I’m feeling…… 🥴
Think of the old Sonny and Cher song.
"The beat goes on"..
….and ‘on, on, on, on, on’….to the tune of another Big Beautiful $3.5Trillion being added to the deficit, which His Majesty’s courtiers in the Senate just rammed through.
Is your head about to explode yet?

Vam, I thanked you very much for your photographic evidence on the other thread!
However in seriousness I started to stop watching Trump 's antics because like all sociopaths in suits he alarms me. He's dangerous, confirmed by new cuts to medical welfare. I worry for American citizens when I saw them being literally thrown about and then bundled into cars for being "immigrants" . Yet they had been invited to the country and had living there for several year's. One couple who were manhandled later tearfully confessed they were on holiday.
I confess I have no idea what the "Big Beautiful Bill" is. It sounds like a feminist bill to promote a positive image of the larger lady in the media but knowing Trump I'm guessing . .it's not that. Could you please educate me a tad?

I don't know what the position of this party will be, so I'll wait before I get too excited.
I think he should have tried to pump money and life into the Libertarian Party. It's been around 50 years and shares his position that government is compromised of too many lazy fucks and politicians that don't give two shits about adding trillions to the debt every year..

From what I've read he's targeting a few key seats which will give the America Party the kingmaker role in legislation where the votes are tight.
Sounds like a good plan to me. Couldn't be more stupid than MAGA so let's see what he comes up with.

Yup. If a third-party could win 3 Senate seats and about 10 House seats, neither major party would have a majority. It would force them to work with the 3rd party, or each other..
We really should have 4 parties based on our politicians. Democrats, Republicans, Socialists and Libertarians but we instead cram those 4 group into two parties because the system is rigged to keep 3rd parties out..

Great! You’re welcome. And now that you‘ve seen I wasn’t bullshitting (no pun intended 😉), I can return to the avi I really, really like.
As for your question - how long have you got? I could go on and on but, in a nutshell, his goddamned Big Beautiful Bill in essence is kinda like Robin Hood in reverse - chuck out some gimmicky ‘crumbs’ to bamboozle the plebs. Then gift all of America’s ‘bakeries’ to the gazillionaires.

Yes, to me too. I can see how that strategy could work really well.
With the caveat being that Elon is mercurial, an energy leech, and is easily bored. He flips on issues, and then he flops…and it seems he’s currently flipped back. After having deleted and walked back his accusations about trump being in the Epstein files, he’s banging on about it all over the place again today.
Also, Tesla is circling the drain as we speak. The investors in all of Elon’s companies are demanding that he keeps his arse the hell out of politics.
So who can predict how determined he’ll be to remain invested in the ‘America Party’? 🤷🏻♀️

Short answer is, by posting a blog-size pile of incoherent splatterchatter that defies logic or comprehension. As he does on any day that ends with a ‘y’.
I’d C&P it for you, but I‘d be here all day 😂

Virginia Giuffre killed herself.
Jeffrey Epstein killed himself.
Ghislaine Maxwell in prison for sex trafficking, including minors.
DOJ shortly after Trump's OBBB gets signed into law: there's no Epstein client list and he wasn't blackmailing anyone. Does this sound as shady AF to anyone?

A pertinent question being asked today: If there’s no Epstein List, then who did Ghislaine Maxwell traffic minors to?

Avon was kind enough to explain it to me but I also looked it up. More people are going to lose Medicaid and it seems there were many who objected to the Bill and most Americans will end up worse off.
I cannot stand Trump myself so I totally get why you talk about him er occasionally(!) , he is the epitome of evil imo and that's why I find it draining watching him lie his ass off from the Oval office every day while he takes the electorates for fools. The malevolence gets a bit too much and I take a break from the News for a bit.
I think the other avi captured his more attractive side btw ! But I really did laugh seeing it so thank you for that.

It's all shady. That list has existed through two Trump administrations and one Biden, yet we are still clueless.
We'll never know, but I'm relatively sure that a Harris administration would have been equally as close lipped.

It's a bit like the grooming gangs scandal over here. Successive governments may have thought it was a good idea to not address the issue for the "greater good" but in reality it is far from that.
I think some things which may the potential for significant social unrest could fall under this category and so the benefits of a "cover up" may outweigh the costs.
But CSE? Never. It is a complete failure of a society if we cannot protect our children from harm.
