Nothing! If they get Asylum then their families and they're big ones, gran et al, will follow!
Yes that will happen, as the legal migrants France are swapping with us will be selected due to having 'family connections' in the UK. So they will now have even bigger family connections, and it will snowball.
It will become a 'migrant lottery' and will attract even more migrants in the hope that they will be selected. "It could be you"
Also, if an illegal migrant is sent back multiple times and keeps coming back, a legal migrant will be sent to us for each attempt, so one illegal migrant could end up being worth several legal ones!
Macron knows that Starmer is deeply unpopular, and is desperate for a 'win', so it wouldn't have taken much to persuade him to agree to this deal, and is probably pissing himself laughing all the way back to Paris.
Of course Starmer has now made a complete fool of himself by claiming he has made a groundbreaking deal LoL.
Stammer a weak sop. France wants rid so let's them come here, Stammer loves them so invites them in with hotels, money ,3 meals a day, while our homeless sleep in the streets!I
Labour is destroying our country. In four years it will be predominantly Muslim.
I am not as pessimistic as you Mags. But if things carry on like they are, I do believe in several decades Muslims will outnumber the indigenous people of the UK.
Their laws and customs are already encroaching on ours, thanks to our pathetic leadership over the last 40 years.
Multiculturalism seemed like a good idea once, turns out it's not really working out fairly.
I believe the only way multiculturalism ever works is if the host country has strong boundaries and laws. We have neither and we will be subsumed in a few decades. Once Muslims become the majority they will vote for Sharia Law and then Britain will become Islamic. Look to history. It's happened before.
Exactly. That's what scares me for my grandchildren and our generation in twenty or so years to come!

If ordinary people can clearly see what will happen in three or four generations, time why can't the powers that be see that?
The police, at the highest level, have allowed young girls and women to be laid out to slaughter for decades. The top police chief in Manchester specifically said that the word Asian, and certainly not Muslim, must not be used when describing rape grooming gangs, and that's almost 20 years ago.
Even though FGM has been practiced here for decades, as far as I can make out (the figures are hard to find) only one person has been imprisoned for carrying out the practice here.
If anyone has more recent data, it will be interesting to see.

Calling them Asian incorporates Indians, Chinese eg. who are not.included in the rape gangs, unfair to tar them with the same brush.

They see it Syl they just don’t give a damn…immigration, rape gangs, benefits, NHS, street violence don’t affect them so it’s not their problem.

Starmer is now accusing the Tories of 'insulting the French' because they have pointed out how completely useless his migrant deal with them is. Macron has him well trained already.
An interesting article in the Express, which is worth a look "Keir Starmer told 'surrender deal won't stop single migrant boat in the Channel"
"Every deal that Keir Starmer enters into seems to deliver more for the other side than this ever does for the United Kingdom.

But the reason the small boats problem is so bad is that by leaving Europe we don't have the return rule..We could just return the boats back to France if we we still part of the EU.
Brexit has had a direct affect on our rampant immigration problem. It has increased the amounts of immigrants coming into to the country tenfold.I respect your reasons for wanting to vote Reform but it was Farage who promised immigration would improve under Brexit which is evidently not true. He would also come down hard on welfare claimants, fake AND genuine. I just worry that he is not trustworthy.
However, Starmer really is neither use nor ornament and I agree he is a shambles. A true Labour PM would never have approved welfare reforms that hurt the disabled.

Everything Starmer has done has been a bloody shambles.
But....addressing how much the government is paying out in disability payments has to be looked at.
Not in the way he has proposed, the latest idea making a two tier payment of before and after, that's just ridiculous.
But when ONE THOUSAND new claimants are awarded some form of disability payment every day....a third of them being for mental health reasons, something is badly wrong.
Either more and more people are learning how to fiddle the system (suicidal thoughts are said to be the new bad back when claiming benefits) or our society is so depressing to live in, we are overrun with more and more people who are unable to work due to mental or physical disabilities.
I would opt for the first reason.

It's certainly true that youngsters who missed a lot of schooling due to the pandemic won't deign to do a certain type of work like cleaning or caring . This is apparently a problem, youngsters without qualifications don't want to work minimum wage.
A bit off topic but that's what made that awful woman in a caring position( who abused the gentleman that passed soon after) a total fraud. She claimed she didn't receive the correct training but in order to be a carer you have to complete a course regarding how to treat vulnerable adults. So a liar through and through.
Anyway I agree that a third claiming welfare in the mental health component sounds rather dodgy but you will not get welfare for depression alone. They would end up on jobseekers allowance which is still classed as welfare but you couldn't survive on it if you had rent and bills to pay. So again that's youngsters at home. You would have to have a long medical history of attempted suicides, be on a lot of restrictive medication and more likely have a serious mental illness like schizophrenia to quite rightly qualify for PIP. It's not at all easy to qualify.
Some people age into needing welfare payments, many need it for just a fortnight or two due to an injury but go back to work. The number that claim disability don't stay on it.
The two tier bill that has been approved I concur is absurd. It will cause a lot of ill feeling between claimants as new claimants in the exact same position as the old will be denied the same money. Syl, we could do a better job of running the country!

Some older gentlemen were literally sitting down nothing holding up signs saying "we oppose genocide" They weren't saying or doing anything.. That is the very definition of peaceful protest and the guy making the video tried to bait them calling them" terrorists" and "self hating westerners" When that didn't work he put his hands on a woman to their right and she told them to stop. The police ushered them on.
How is someone peacefully protesting ,a terrorist? The way those gentleman handled that clown (by ignoring him completely) showed who the real troublemaker was.

If they are peacefully protesting why is Palestine Action now banned as a terrorist organisation. They all got arrested. Odd that none of them are outraged at the slaughter of muslims in other countries, just Gaza.

Incorrect.
PIP is paid for how your health problems affects you on a day to day basis and what, if any, help is needed it’s not on your health condition / diagnosis eg Being on medication will not get you points automatically on the PIP scale if you have no problems taking it whereas if you need help doing so you may.
PIP daily living component is awarded for a terminal diagnosis but the mobility component isn’t paid if you’re not having problems with mobility.

That is the very definition of peaceful protest and the guy making the video tried to bait them calling them" terrorists" and "self hating westerners"
When that didn't work he put his hands on a woman to their right and she told them to stop.
