Not so sure, what's more I'm sure many people have managed to fiddle the furlough scheme that's been operating for months.....especially employers.
Well the way the likes of Duncan Smith and the right wing press demonised the poor, sick and vulnerable was a total disgrace and so was/are Atos and Maximus.

I wasn't talking about the poor sick or vulnerable though, I was talking about scroungers who fiddle the benefit system.

It's touching when we see people who had influence in life become old and frail....he was such an imposing figure in his films.
He had a good life and a good innings though, nothing to be sad about.

He did and he lived a life most men can only dream of - many people know if he was in a game he would be the end boss.

Nobody is going to take the piss. I cried when Bowie died. I'd grown up with his music, and it meant so much to me because every song held a different memory of my life. He's one of the few people I'd have loved to meet in real life.

I cried when Marc Bolan died.
Men do cry JD, it is what makes them human.

Not in Hull they don't unless it's for football.
I feel a bit of a fool now because it will feed the trolls - I can get really emotional over films as well for example Roy Batty's death soliloquy in Blade Runner always had me (secretly) crying.

My OH cried when we took our small son to the cinema to see ET, son, who was about 8 or 9, sat there dry eyed and shook his head at his dad in despair.

This place doesn't seem to like loads of links. Also, I think people get overfaced and won't read them.

The Nanny and I've just ordered another DVD from Amazon.
The Bette Davis collection. The Letter, Dark Victory, Now Voyager and Mr Skeffington.
I watched "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" recently with Bette Davis and Olivia De Havilland.
It was great, watch it Digs if you haven't seen it.
Apparently they were good friends in real life, which is more than can be said for Bette and Joan.
