Scientists are calling for immediate reintroduction of wearing face coverings in crowded places.
The government are dragging their feet... again. deja vu.

Wearing masks and social distancing should have continued, regardless of anything else… total madness to have relaxed those rules!…. I wear a mask purely to protect myself from those fkn idiots who don’t!

Seems not, though if the infection, but more importantly the hospital admission and death rate continues to rise, they will surely have to do something soon.
It just seems there is no end to this bloody plague, things are definitely heading in the wrong direction again.

So do I, but it now seems that 95% of people don't bother anymore, at least in the places we go to.

This idiot refuses to get vaccinated and thinks the vaccines are a conspiracy to plant chips in black people so they are connected to a master computer for 'a plan of Satan'.
He has also previously stated that the earth is flat.
How such morons can breathe and walk at the same time is beyond me.
A flatworm could out think him.

Sadly yes and very influential as well - of course the anti-vaxxers just love him.

He's an odd cat, but I don't have a problem with his stance. A lot of folks like me believe in vaccines, but we also don't believe in mandates.
I was out with a nurse the other night and we discussed this. We are both vaccinated and believe in them. But she is like me. It's not right to force others to get one. She feels it is her job to explain to you the benefits of any medical procedure, and let you decide. Even if it might increase the risk to others.
For the record, Kyrie wouldn't have an issue playing on most teams. His problem is living and working in that shithole called New York City.

Maddog, so I think it's accepted that unvaccinated people are more at risk of catching covid so are more likely than fully vaccinated people to infect others.
Given that, what would be your stance on mandatory vaccines for care workers or frontline NHS workers?

I understand folks in hospitals but even that makes me uneasy. I'm comfortable with unvaccinated healthcare professionals.
My nurse friend has some co workers that haven't been vaccinated, but several have had the virus.
My nurse friend says they have to eat by themselves and have more mask restrictions in the hospital..
We have a religious exemption for all vaccines and at least at the state level, very few questions are asked when it's given.
I sure as hell don't care what basketball players do.
This thing isn't going anywhere. It doesn't appear like we will vaccinate our way out of it either. Even the Israelis had a surge with very high vaccination rates.
I still like the Swedish mentality far more than the Australian which horrifies me.
Go get your vaccine, or don't and go make the best of your life. It's time to move on.

Dumb, blind subservience to an imaginary Bronze age being should not cost tens of thousands of lives in the 21st century.

I don't think most of them are religious. They don't want the shot.
It's all a game.
I would prefer the exemption be called the "fuck you exemption"
Any one that doesn't want the shot just says "fuck you, leave me alone" and they are exempt.

I would never make the vaccine compulsory... too much like a police state, I would definitely restrict unvaccinated people from working with the old, ill and vulnerable.
Anyone else who refused the vaccine for anything other than health grounds, I wouldn't care if their freedom to travel or mix in some venues was limited.
Personally, I think it's anti social to refuse to protect the rest of society.
Vaccines save millions of lives, there is just no reason to refuse it other than sheer selfishness imo.
