Her testimony in court was really touching, the poor girl was terrified, yet bravely did her job.
The other people at the airport, not even involved with that family, chose to shout support to the thugs and video what was happening, no one came to help the police even when both the women were being attacked.
It would have been them that uploaded the first video online, which seemed to show police brutality. They carefully edited out the before and after, giving the true picture.

Exactly Syl. Hope the scum get many years in prison, but I won't hold my breath.

As a sidenote, here, questions are being asked about police toughness and fitness.
The young female cop who had her nose broken was 5'2'' and 8 stone, obviously she wasn't equipped to handle the violence these yobs inflicted on her. Police today are much shorter, fatter, possibly a lot less fit than they were back in the day. My dad was a cop, he was six foot, I think the minimum height requirement back then for males was at least 5'10''....that doesn't apply today.
The male police officer, had his glasses knocked off, he said because of this his vision was limited to arms length.

Could this be because qualifying criteria had to be amended, due to fewer people wanting to apply to join the police.

Possibly, and also inclusivity, giving more people the opportunity.
That's great in theory, not always in practice.

It used to be 6 ft for the London met when my ex joined the police back in 1981. He joined Thames Valley Police and was just in the height limit of 5.8. He had a female officer he paired up with who was shorter than him and very slim and she could hold her own. But then you rarely got men punching women let alone a female police officer. Times have changed.

Today's court proceedings, with police body cam footage.
The trial continues, the more these yobs speak the guiltier they sound. And has anyone ever seen such a sleazy, shifty looking lawyer? ... just my opinion, obviously.

Godawful colour and style (those lapels! 🫣), but still some expensive bespoke tailoring going on there.
Advocating his clients’ cases by spinning the charges into racial bias issues as a defence, must be very lucrative.

In court, the closing speeches have been made.
It will be very interesting to see what verdict the jury reach.

They're guilty, but I bet they get off.

I don't think they will. Their lawyer has blamed the way the police approached them, saying they didn't identify themselves as police, and the poor little brothers felt they were being attacked and they were fighting for their lives.
Prosecution have the videos that show what actually did happen, and they show the yobs up for what actually did happen. They have lied from start to finish.

Just want to say thanks for the updates, Syl! I’ve been following this story since you first posted about it.
And I still blame the mother.

Whatever the verdict there’s going to be trouble of some kind - guilty, Muslims will cause chaos as will a not-guilty verdict for those who don’t want them here.
